Well, if you compare this drama to their other ones that they've play together then this drama is the better one so far; although I've yet to see all the ones they've played together. This drama was hilarious. I just wished there were better subs. This drama does have it's flaws but it wasn't that bad.

I don't usually watch Japanese dramas, but after reading your great review, I'll give it a try, even though I…
Aweee, thanks! I hope you can enjoy the Jap version although the K version wasn't that good for you. I hardly watch J-dramas unless it features one of my favorite actor/actress or a storyline that I can vibe with.

Title My Cherie Amour Spoiler
This cured my Thai drama slope. I have not finished a Thai drama in about over three to four years now. I love the vibe of this drama. At first, I was about to drop this because the first half of ep 1 was too animated directed or over the top for me, but I'm glad I powered through. I might be in the minority where I actually really liked the slow burn romance for the first half of the show which made it so worthwhile when the leads finally got together. I thought I wouldn't like the girl chasing the guy trope, but here it makes sense and actually the female didn't really do that. She was mainly dropping love hints and was already flirtatious from the get go so all that was natural coming from her. She only started chasing the ML after she knew his really feelings.

At times, the ML was really slow. I'm just like dude, I understand that you didn't get it at first, but you should now right?!...no...lol...Anyways, I was never really a fan of Tor before, but he did an impressive job in here. He came off really charming to me and I've seen him play Hua Jai Sila before but never cared. Here, I do. Like, I get why the FL is head over heels for him. It's the way how he carries himself, his principles and integrity; his selfless love for his family even when it's slowly breaking him apart. Ugh, I need me a Wichai too!

Love the FL's character! She's really well written all around. Even her duo with her brother Prasit had me LMAO whenever they're on my screen scheming. I especially love how FL never once cared about standing up for herself against the ML's mom's slander, but ooooo when the mom went after ML, tsk tsk, FL lost it. Nobody can look down on Wichai in front of her, this girl will protect her man. Having watched most of Yaya's dramas, I can say that one thing I've noticed lately are her awkward facial expressions or her hand gesture moments where they come off not natural to me. It's not an ugly look, but to me it feels like she's trying too hard at those scenes.

Two things that I had an issue with this drama thus it's not getting the 10 rating is I wished ML was a bit more verbal too. I was waiting for him to say I love you to FL. I think he never did unless I missed it somehow. He's always thanking her for her love and understanding, but what about I love you lol...like not even a I love you for who you are and the unconditional love and happiness that you've given me. And then, there were some flaws with writing or editing issues where I'm sure ML knew that FL liked him, but then you get these weird after scenes where he would resort back to not knowing or trying to reaffirm her feelings for him...for example, the rain scene where she finally confessed to him, and then told him again while he was sick in bed, and then through her paper letters. Even with all these confessions from her, he had the audacity to ask her about her secret feelings that she's hiding...lol...I'm confused.

Anyways, point being I still love this drama. I can see myself rewatching it.

Is it mostly rage bait with level of scumminess of ML? πŸ˜€
Haha, yeah! I just realized Chen Tian Xiang had the wrong character name posted under his name after your other comment.

But, there's many other great short and vertical dramas so I recommend skipping this one. You won't miss much LOL.

Oh! Someone finally made a page for this!

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. Just wish it was a bit longer during the second half to showcase how the female lead really felt towards the male lead.

Chen Tian Xiang plays the male lead Shen Du not Shen Yun Lan. Shen Yun Lan is female lead's ex.

Male lead's not a scum. The romance development was lacking because there was no real development between the leads especially from the female lead. Female lead is also constantly in a repetitive fight with her annoying ex. Story had no real plot so pretty boring.

Having watched both versions, I gotta say this one was way better. I love how the female lead is more independent here. She’s clearly into the male lead, but she knows when to step back. The male lead was still that complex, intriguing type, but at least this time we actually got to see why he is the way he is.

What I really liked was how their relationship wasn’t as toxic or based on lust like the Kdrama. Male lead is still a jerk in here, but at least he has his reasons. You can tell that male lead's feelings for female lead is mutual but it hurts to not see him act on it, which is why I wish there were more scenes between them. And, it would have been nice to get a deeper dive into their struggles while they were creating their art pieces.

The last episode was truly beautiful, though. It wrapped everything up nicely and left me with a warm, satisfied feeling.

Also, I was so captivated by Ryusei. Never realized how gorgeous his eyes were.

Eh, skipped this 2x and nothing really happened. Repetitive scenes, no romance buildup, lacked some logic parts, and both leads' acting were bad.

Loved it! Super good! Only issue I had was just the soul swap, but then I get it, I get it. Also, the leads had tons of chemistry, very natural.

Also, the backstory was really sad, actually had me in tears.

Omgash! Sucks that people can't take other people's different opinion like an adult. I've had this encounter many…
They were really good! Ones that I can rewatch for the thrill and excitement yet still holds that mystery element.

I can see that this review is ruffling some feathers. So let me just say this, everyone is entitled to their own…
Omgash! Sucks that people can't take other people's different opinion like an adult. I've had this encounter many times.

Although, I have to say I agree with everything your review says. This season didn't make sense to me and I disliked everything about it. Starting from Ryuuji, he was such a freaken psycho, obsessed with death, and a coward who did not want to die alone but always trying to implicate others. I did not get his weak ass character at all! The whole entire time I'm just like dude, just do everyone a favor and off yourself; stop bringing people into your delulu obsession when you're the only one who wants to seek it.

Usagi's reason for entering borderland made no complete sense to me and to have her get an epiphany out of nowhere at the last episode was just lazy writing. Plus, she was defending a person who she barely knew "Ryuuji" against Arisu? WTFlip. That guy just proved to you what his motives were, and manipulated you back into the borderland where you worked so hard previously with Arisu to escape. When she got back her memories, first instinct would be to smack the guy and isolate him; IDK why she was still on his side? Also, Ryuuji never apologized for involving Usagi and Arisu for his own obsession is what is getting my blood boiled. Arisu should have punched him out of that wheelchair for making them try to escape death again.

And, that joker who was obsessed with ML? Idk why they gave him that much power? Like the watchman stated, he's there to observe people passing through borderland or basically passing through death itself. So how the heck did the watchman let a citizen manipulate real and living people to come into borderland is beyond me and these citizens should have already been killed for breaking that order.

I was nice and gave this drama a 6.5 because of my love for 1&2 and a soft spot for Arisu and the actress for Usagi or else it would have been 6 or even lower.

On Alice in Borderland Season 3 Oct 11, 2025
🀣 Omgah! That ending was so ridiculous and I'm saying it nicely cause I didn't want to curse.

πŸ˜‘ Ryuji annoyed the crap outta me! Dragging everyone down for his selfish needs and cult beliefs. He never even apologized.

Usagi got me kinda annoyed in this season too because I'm like why didn't you wait at the train station for your boy? Like hello? You just saw him in another train - he ain't far away. She even got into this mess because of her dad - we didn't get any good story out of it either until the very last ep where she just had an epiphany out of nowhere?...okay...Honestly, story should have shown her struggles with Arisu by her side with these internal struggles because he's been through it and he will always be the one who will lift her up while she's down or in danger vice versa they keep each other alive. But, nooo story decides to give us unnecessary scenes with Ryuji 🀨. Like whuuuut?! Also, I know Usagi can fight so IDK why she didn't knuckle Ryuji down during the water drag πŸ™„.

And, because of the lack of story and reason, the journey was questionable. I mean this season proves what we all thought the borderland was. So, good luck watching 🫑!

At least, Arisu delivers as always.
