How so? Episode 16's airing tomorrow. Somebody already knows how it will end?
Seeing that they mostly didn't even talk in ep 15 based on the spoilers... it will probably take quite some time to make sense of them getting back together... if they even do lol
Reading spoilers and no resolution ... they are reeeeeeally dragging the breakup to the last (ten minutes of)…
Yup. Why should the viewers remember this drama as a warm and happy one overall when they can just remember how every bloody romantic scene between YW and JH was mirrored by a heartbreaking one showing them being apart. Smh. I'm getting less and less willing to watch eps 13-16 when like 90% is angst.
It is still possible for them to give us S2 and satisfying finale of S1 at the same time. I know it's not easy for us to trust the production team after ep 13 and 14, that there are just too many plots, and the announcement came at the worst time possible, but if they manage to gave us the exact quality we loved till ep 12, S2 wouln't be a bad thing. Maybe the whole MW and SY plot would make more sense if they had more time for it - maybe cramming all the emotional plots in 2 eps wouldn't happen if the crew was sure about the S2 at that time. Before ep 13 I thought EAW is the perfect material for multiple seasons, and I still believe that - there is so much more for YW to experience and go through, her journey is not over. I would love to see more of her relationship with JH and their struggles instead of a time skip and showing us their marriage in ep 16. I just wish we will be left without any major cliffhangers.
Lol, look at me now, wanting to be optimistic and not realistic even though I thought that HP2 was a bit of mess compared to HP1 even though it was planned from the start hahaha
i feel like the same thing is happening here as with "everything everywhere all at once" on film twitter, where…
Yeah I agree, somehow in other kdramas it's enough for a guy to get attracted to a girl just she's cute/quirky/assertive/competent at her job or similar. But here, while YW is very competent, passionate both about her hobby and job, has a lot of compassion for her clients, always tries her best, somehow it isn't enough and people claim that JH likes her mainly because of her looks (when physical attraction is hella important as well, and in EVERY other kdrama the FL is just as pretty and it isn't a problem).
I'm getting a feeling that somehow people think that if she has autism, we should have been explicitly told how there are more "pluses" of being in relationship with her to JH than "minuses"? And while in NT relationships typically there wouldn't be that many serious "minuses", here the autism is such a big "minus" that it should be compensated by more "pluses" than in typical dramas/relationships? Or maybe the viewers can't understand YW's charms?
I see people changing their ratings from a 10/10 to a 2/10 or 3/10. Does it really get that bad?I read they want…
Nah, for the most part it was super good. I'll see about my rating after the finale, for sure it won't be a 10 but it def won't be a 3 either, and I can get strict with my ratings.
This user made a great post about what happened in the most recent episodehttps://all-about-the-tea-parties.tumblr.com/post/692391911046168576/i-havent-gotten-that-far-but-ive-seen-posts-and
Those are actually very sensible remarks. But at the same time, from a drama-watcher pov - I really would be fine if this happened a few eps ago. Or if the show was supposed to be 20eps. But rn we're pretty much left with 2 episodes, a lot of other unfinished plots, and I just don't see a way for the writers to resolve these issues well. There's simply not enough time and I feel like everything will be very rushed.
If there is a positive side-effect of being disappointed in this week's episodes is that it will be easier for…
I'm getting the feeling that I wouldn't be so disappointed with the recent turns of events if I binged EAW knowing about all the shortcomings. I did the same with Her Private Life (I was aware of all the unnecessary cliches that came out of nowhere near the end), so I skipped all of the annoying plots and really enjoyed it in the end. I loved being a part of watching EAW while airing but maybe it wasn't the best decision.
But anyways, I've also cooled down a bit since Thursday so whatever happens, my disappointment won't be THAT bad I feel? At least I hope lol. I'm more annoyed now, feeling that even if YW and JH do get back together it will feel rushed and won't leave me feeling that sure about their future after the show ends.
Seriously this drama should have handle well with that mandatory breakup cliche.Breakup is an extreme step. You…
Oh yes. That's why I particularly hate this trope in kdramas. It shouldn't be people's first choice to break up. I know that here YW's dillemas are most probably more serious than in other kdramas. But as a viewer, watching a couple that's breaking up so early in their story doesn't leave me much to look forward to in their future. For me at least, it would be so hard to trust my partner after a breakup from his initiative. But then again, YW's problems aren't minor
Oh same. And it really robbed me of all motivation to watch today's episode ngl. Maybe I should wait till next…
True, like why give them scenes with actual communication and relationship development when we can waste 2 episodes on showing them being sad and missing each other. And in most shows during this mandatory break-up period nothing significant really happens anyway, it's just that the leads suddenly realize that they prefer to be together and in the end none of their problems that lead to the breakup are actually resolved.

Yeah, I'm gonna do the same thing... I can't enjoy the show right now knowing what's coming next. It's gonna ruin my week tbh. And knowing that at best they will resolve it by the end of ep 15... 😬
I'm trying to figure out the point of making attorney Jung gravely ill/dying so late in the show. Just to add…
After ep 12 I was watching fan edits with Jung, and I became certain that he's just overworked and doesn't take good enough care of himself. There were just so many scenes when he was napping / eating badly etc. That may lead to serious health issues, of course, but I thought that the resolution of the plot will be him changing job / habits and taking care of himself, not DYING. But still, fingers crossed he won't.
I have to admit that it could have been a bit shorter, as there was some repetetiveness in the middle. But the beggining and ending episodes are just so fantastic. I am a person who in the most cases guesses who is the culprit in the beginning, but with this one, for such a limited amount of suspects, it just kept me guessing. Excellent show. But hella scary, had to look at my phone to tone the scariness down lol
