Doing another murder will have them continue to investigate the whole situation 1. She has no memory 2. Another…
Yeah but now he killed the stalker anyway (and left him in a freaking refrigerator on the main street), his cop friend and DH are next in line, so he doesn't seem to be scared of being caught for another murder... Well he's been a sloppy murderer from the beginning so I guess I shouldn't expect more from him XD

Oh you're right - I honestly thought there was sth more to female chef's sister death, but when stalker died and it was quicly wrapped up... but you're right, there was another murder, I completly forgot...

Did she ever say don't date him? I was under the impression she just doesn't want her to stay working as a waitress…
I think she did but I don't remember the details... but I thought that was one of the reasons they kept their relationship secret (unsuccessfully ofc)

I actually think it's a bit weird that DH was left alive all this time. Like the murderer just let her go cause…
Maybe cause there was another suspect... but he still should watch DH at all times to make sure she doesn't get her memories back

I actually think it's a bit weird that DH was left alive all this time. Like the murderer just let her go cause she had no memories left and he thought that it will stay that way forever? I mean even her mother would go to the police if she was told that the kidnappings were connected. Sure, DH might not have seen his face, but if she just told the police the location she was held in, it would be enough (especially with the murderer being the one who checked it). He could have at least moved, but I guess he thought he'd just wing it...

What's the motive of the killer(s) of just kidnapping young girls? I wonder if this will be explored. If he is…
I'm wondering about the same thing. Cause if he is a psychopath, shouldn't there be a high possibility of him murdering someone else in those 18 years? It's really weird that it was a 1-time thing, and that's why from the beginning I thought there was more to the murder than him being a psychopath/pedophile. But I'm not an expert in that field so maybe I'm wrong and he was satisfied with one kill? Dunno

I wonder why Hwang Minjoo is listed as one of the main characters here. She has less screentime than the other…
There's no way that the people who put her as main character on mal had any knowledge of that while putting her as one. I think it will be corrected as the drama ends

Hmm, if DH's mom really thought that GH's sister's kidnapper was not the same as DH's kidnapper, then why would she tell DH to stay away from GH and definitely not date him? A bit nitpicky, I know she wasn't sure about that, but still - kinda feels like she knew all along that it was connected, just now trying to convince herself that she thought it wasn't

Just drop it then
I don't mind the crimes, and I wasn't just for the lovey-dovey part - and even if I was, it would be clear after ep 1 that I'm in the wrong place. I was so into the drama when I got to the first episodes and they thought they killed the stalker, that made me expect a crazy and over-the-top drama (not makjang, but something more bound to earth), and I was here for it. But as some of the people in the comments below already pointed out, there's way too little mistery for a 16-hour show. We were repeatedly shown that everyone in the village is involved in some wrongdoings, and we are getting actual plot developments in like 5 mins of every 1 hour episode. That's just way too little for me.

Let me take two dramas as an example of how I'd rather have them continue the show. I watched them some time ago so my memories could be blurred, but that's how I remember them (no major spoilers, just general plotpoints):

- In When the Camelia Blooms, there was a similar setting - crime in a small neighbourhood. But the crime was never really the main focus of the episodes, just a small feature, so although the speed of the reveals was on the slower side, just like in Link, viewers could focus on other things - the romance, the struggle of a single mother in a prejudiced neighbourhood, and so on. There was a lot of character development, and even though the series was not perfect by any means, it was an enjoyable ride (up until some latter episodes, it became repetetive too). But overall I remember it as being really romantic and wholesome. I watched it in 2019 and still can recall some main plots. In Link: the neighbourhood doesn't get any development, the romance after they get together is very so-so, the restaurant doesn't open, and I barely can recall what actually happened in the show. From the upsides, I really like ML's development in Link, the struggle with guilt, and relationship between FL and her family. It's not like I just hate the show.

- Flower of Evil: this is a mystery masterpiece. But at the same time there is romance like nowhere else. In the beginning we are introduced to a mystery which is resolved within a few episodes (like 5 from what I recall?), and then we get another mystery, and another, all connected by the same storyline. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect all mystery dramas to be of FoE level, but when you have 16 eps, 1 (maybe 1,5, considering that initial stalker mystery) mystery just doesn't cut it. It could have been easily put in a max. 8-episodes story.

And about dropping the drama - should it be a thing to say to every person that doesn't like the show? Link is ongoing, it's a mystery show, no wonder that people are sticking around to get a closure. It it was finished, there's a great chance that I would skip to last episode, but now I have the spare time to watch it, so I am. If people wrote bad reviews after not finishing the drama but dropping it midway some would argue that they opinion doesn't count, because they can't judge if they haven't seen everything. Should we be surrounded by only positive opinions then?

That hour went by so fast. I wanted more. So there were two bad guys and because DH's mom killed one of them she…
I thought he pointed to the twin sister he's seeing in his mind? That's why his wife didn't see anything. But your theory could also be true. Like, he bought that house so no one finds out that a murder happened there, cause he feels so guilty he didn't help? But then I think he'd keep stricter control so that noone comes in, and especially not our two main leads XD

Some of the people don't know what we mean by slow pace. So let's go over what happened in ep13, as of minute 50:
- for a bigger part of the episode they just talk about stalker's death
- then JWT beats the chief officer
- for the rest of the episode all of the villagers act suspiciocious as hell, but we already knew that.

The scenes just became incredibly repetetive, they give us no character development (it stopped in like the first half), barely any clues to the mistery, no fun romance - it does nothing for me. And then there's a reveal in the final minutes. At least something I guess.

I mean it was fun for 8 eps but not for 13 becoming 16. Ep 13 was over 1 hour, and we basically learn nothing. The story became so freaking slow and stale. Most of the scenes make the villagers act suspicious and ALMOST confess to sth, but then they don't. And it's been that way since ep1. It's just that now I thought that we'll be coming to conclusion, but nothing happens...

Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
Ok, so guessing from the comments they are following the webtoon... and I can't bring myself to watching these new episodes. It's going nowhere anyway. I hate Babi as a character...

I read a part of webtoon yesterday (Sunrook chapters) and it was so fun. His chemistry with Yumi was crazy. Like, why didn't they just straight up remove Babi's plot from S2 and give us Sunrook. The first few episodes from this season would show how Yumi struggles on her own to achieve her dreams of writing and getting over Woong. And then she would be ready for a new relationship with Sunrook.

I read in comments already that they gave a lot of Sunrook scenes to Babi but it was like a good almost 60-70% of them! So why not just give us Sunrook who is a much more interesting character? At least we got a lot of content on his cells in webtoon, and for Babi we got basically NOTHING in S2. I'm sorry, I'm just so pissed, nothing against a second breakup if they had plans for S3, but if they did, they wouldn't give Sunrook's scenes away. This season is so boring and pointless.
