Also, what I really appreciate about this series, which may be a small matter to some, is the passing of time. We've been told that many weeks pass between the episodes and even within the episodes themselves. Not only does it make sense from legal point of view (as court cases take a long time to process) but also I don't feel like the romance came out of nowhere and in a span of two weeks the leads fall madly in love. Here, they don't have a lot of screentime but I still can feel how firstly they become friends and then start developing romantic feelings. It is very believable.

How is it that the romance takes no more than a few minutes each episode, but my heart flutters more than in many recent romance kdramas. But I still want more!

I really don't think that Tae Soo Mi's son is LJH. Firstly, if I recall correctly, didn't the rumors say that she had an illigitimate child during her studies? So I'd guess that her son was born few years later, after graduading and so on. And I don't think there's a substantial age difference between our male leads, when WYW is told to be fresh out of school, and LJH seems to already have experience at work. That may be far-fetched, but based on the chief's words, her son seems to be a high schooler or in college. I know that we're accustomed to expect everything from kdramas, but I don't think there's any room to worry here.

Yeah, I agree. The beginning episodes got me hooked, but rn I feel like I'm just sticking to see the ending. Maybe it's better suited for binge watching, but still, there's a lot of filler.

Yeah I know, but it's just too predictable... How can I feel excited about their relationship when from day 1 I was 99% sure that it would happen. And so it did, it's just tiring to me...

Man... I honestly don't feel like watching ep 12 after what you said XD Why the breakup, who needed that...

Ok, so I'm watching Link, Yumi's Cells and EAW right now, but EAW is honestly the only one where I'm counting days till the next episode. I was a bit worried about it being a law based drama (I'm not too fond of them and the formulaic episodes), but it turned out to be the ideal slice-of-life drama for me.

But also - don't bring Woong once again this season if they aren't going to be together. He has survived a bad breakup and after that was rejected once more. Give this man a break. Don't bring him again if he doesn't have a chance...

Eh... I'm glad I watched it. It was a nice story and thrilling for the couple of first episodes. I'm not even that mad about the 15 ending mins, cause at that point it lost the spark for me already. Somehow when FL saw their future together it was way more thrilling than actually seeing it unravel. But it wasn't bad, good for a quick binge when you're sick and have nothing better to do.

Few of webtoon readers said that he exists there too but after learning about Yumi's bf he backs off and they become friends. Waste of a damn good character if you ask me.

If I didn't watch S1 before, this would be a quick drop. I honestly don't even remember what happened in this season with Babi. I just remember the scenes with Woong. Yumi's relationship with Babi feels soo lukewarm, whereas the main selling point in S1 was the FIRE in Yumi's relationship with Woong.

I don't even really blame Babi for what happened. I just want him out of our sight cause he's boring AF and the chemistry in their relationship is non-existent.

I kinda don't know how to feel about it. Like, you'd have to be a saint not to get attracted to anybody other than your partner. But at the same time, it's not sth the partner should know? Like if I learnt that my boyfriend is moved enough by a girl to sell his house and move away from her, I would be secong guessing my relationship as well. It just wouldn't be as comfortable anymore.

Same. It's getting ridiculous with Netflix, even though I pay for it, I still have to watch dramas somewhere else...

That's a valid point. I try to think if I ever saw such a plot done well (having thoughts about other people while in relationship) in a TV show or drama, but I can't recall it being portrayed as sth normal and not negative. Maybe something like in One Spring Night, where the FL falls for ML while in a relationship? But the 'cheating' side is often excused by their partner being toxic, abusive or else. And the 'new' love interest is often the main lead and the ultimate endgame. Still, the FL in OSN got quite a lot of backlash from some viewers who did not endorse that plot.

In that context, seeing Babi start to think romantically about somebody other than his partner, with almost no backstory, and with somebody other than main female lead, is just unthinkable to some.

(TBH my main reason for disliking on Babi is not his swaying but him being the single most boring ML ever)

The thing is, we weren't really shown what the 2 of them feel about long-distance relationship. If it was presented that way - that Babi was really lonely, and Yumi prioritized becoming a writer rather than being together - then I guess there would at least be some build up to the situation with intern. But they didn't show any reasoning behind his falling for intern, so we can't be sure that it wouldn't happen if Babi was still in Seoul with Yumi. What I'm trying to say is, it is justified to feel lonely and even abandoned in long-distance relationship, but in this situation we didn't see any of that, so I can't blame Yumi for not coming to Jeju if she felt that their relationship is fine.

I think it's just a stylistic choice. The writer thought it would be funny to do it that way, and that's probably the only reason
