Oh, my! It's been quite a while since I finished. I do remember the test you are referring to, I'm sorry but I don't remember. I think it may have been resolved later, but I'm not certain.

@ TangYan "Nirvana in Fire" is very slow but actually one of my favorite historical dramas. I started it twice and finally finished. It helped to have recaps to read. http://dr-myri-blog.blogspot.com/2015/11/nirvana-in-fire-episode-1-recap.html You might like "Ever Night" and if you like palace dramas I recomment "Story of Yanxi Palace".
