I don't think the cinematography is worth mentioning. Except for a few scenes, it's mostly forgettable.…
I see your point but for me, I don't know if its the same for you I forgot all the drama shortcomings and focused on the positive sides of the drama and the shortcomings as overall they blend well together and make the story visually fascinating to watch. :) I'm at ep 53 and it has been a roller-coaster of emotions but a very good one. :)

Thanks for the review and have to say i am loving, LOVING this show at the moment. I didn't have much expectations…
I agree with everything that you said. I love Chu Bei Jie! As a male character he's compelling exactly because of what you said - he's straightforward, fearless and has that confidence in himself as man to wear his heart on his sleeve. Ping Ting is his match in every way. When they're together they're two peas in a pond.
Yes General & I has flaws but they're not detracting from watching the drama and the other General & I characters enhance the story and they don't waste it. When they finish their purpose they leave. This is quite new as most secondary characters tend to stay at a drama from beginning to end even when they serve no purpose after a period of time.

" I definitely was not a fan of his post-drama interviews" - what do you mean by that? Is Song Joong…
I guess you can say that! :p Lol. I read a lot of his interviews following his early works and I liked that he was more concerned about becoming a good actor rather than the flower boy image he now cultivates. He has a degree in Business Administration from Sungkyunkwan University. He's smart and his post Descendants of the Sun interviews are a smart move marketing wise but I liked the Pre Descendants actor more than I like the Post and the Pre Descendants interviews so now in order to continue to enjoy his work I don't read any of his interviews. :)

Gong Yoo on Coffee Prince was phenomenal! Cute and adorable and the ideal guy! The drama, I entirely agree, had an amazing OST! It's one of those dramas whose entire OST is wonderful to listen to! :)
