and that jump in the end. I mean, did he really think he could jump across it? or is it included in the category…
I think he really thought he can cross it. And it lingers on his mind if he can or not. Like when marshall tried to jump on the balcony in how I met your mother.
Silent types are always the cruel and cunning ones....Mi Jeong, hearing stories about her past relationships gave…
I understand what you are saying.. As I watching MJ and Mr Gu's conversation about her past, it's kind of dark that she started to feel that way when she was just a kid(8 years old if I remembered), it's like she was lack of empathy or something.. In my reflection to my previous comments, is it right or healthy on how Mi Jung's see what liberation means in a relationship? Although there are lots of positive output in their lives right now..
Her giving all without waiting for him to give the same is also a good thing.. But I don't know, this episode is a mixed of feelings if they do the right thing or not.. :)
Chang Hee is the definition of "Live with no regrets".. That conversation to his father and that jump.. At least he tried it.. There's no "what if" in the future, just slightly bruises and backache for him..
Episode 6 reflection: I must say Chang Hee is the real MVP in this episode. Although he crossed the line about the bottles, it's a good opportunity for Gu to have some thinking about it. And I really appreciated Chang Hee's courage to talk to his father about the opportunity, he knows that he will most likely fail but at least he doesn't have regrets, just like when he tried to jump in that last scene. I also love how he cares and has empathy for others. It gave me a lot of thinking about how I will interact even with my most hated person or just having a bad day.
And as for the main couple.. hmmm.. I have mixed feelings about it especially since they are on the time that they opened with each other, it shows a lot of flaws and somehow I am thinking if Mi Jung's way of worship or love is right or acceptable. They are like each other's psychiatrists in a way. But is it the right way how comfort each other? Nevertheless, they started to be liberated in their life so maybe that's a good sign. It's like they willingly change for the good instead of criticizing each other and being obligated to change.
It took me a while to find my mood to watch this. Hmmm..maybe because I am too attached in the first season. But omg.. Hwang Shi Mok was a real mood on this drama..He was still amazing and I’m still in episode 3..
It depicts the life of adulthood. Most of the viewers fell in love with this drama because somehow they can relate to the characters. Their struggles, decisions, finding happiness, etc. The kids/toddlers will still not understand it.. Watchers who were teenagers or at least in their twenties will definitely appreciate this drama.
Since Mi Jung’s father agreed to give him her number no questions ask but somehow he look at him from head to toe:) does it mean he kinda approves Mr. Gu? Take note she was his favorite child:)
Who would have thought those 2 most socially awkward people can be romantic too. In their own awkward way.
so true... What I love about their relationship is its more realistic. Although Mr. Gu agreed to try it, it cannot change his habit in one blink.. I think the reason why sometimes he was cold to Mi Jung is because somehow he was ashamed that she see his drinking habit..
Her giving all without waiting for him to give the same is also a good thing.. But I don't know, this episode is a mixed of feelings if they do the right thing or not.. :)
