everyone were hating jiyeon for being bland, but i think seulki is even worse like there’s no outcome in talking…
That's why I skip scenes with such characters in dating shows. She knows she's pretty, she gets attention, thinks she's giving signs, but no one notices it, episodes are 75% about her and her love triangle, gets emotional and cries somewhere in the middle of the show, but the entire time we're not entertained in any way. It's just her and other two guys looking at each other in 10 different angles lol
No cause she is saying things that she needs time and all but then we see in the next ep that she don really need…
It's strange to say that you're someone who directly expresses your affinity towards someone and then act (since the beginning of the show) as if you were forced to be there. If you're straightforward, why would you barely participate in every conversation, never really express yourself verbally, but only sit there and smile. I also don't get Dong Woo. What did he think he would have in common with a girl that's still studying and has totally different lifestyle? He likes the way she looks, but forgot this is a dating show, not a hook up one lol I'm sure, based on his appearance and profession, he's more than capable of finding that outside of this show.
I felt second-hand embarrassment while watching Seul Gi and Dong Woo. I don't think it's possible to have less chemistry and compatibility than they did lol In every Korean dating show there's one Seul Gi and I never get it. I understand they might be editing this in a way to make it more dramatic or whatever, but it's just boring to watch the same thing over and over. Also, if you're someone who needs time to get comfortable and open up, why would you go on a show where you're supposed to find someone in 8 days? It doesn't make much sense to me lol
Anyway, I'm rooting for my girl Nadine. I wish her all the best whether she finds someone in this show or outside.
I really can’t understand why they cut so much of the main lead’s romantic storyline. It’s basically what…
I don't know. I'm kind of surprised they did that to a drama with such cast. I would assume they would be more serious about it. I don't know what kind of rules they have in terms of what can be shown outside of the country. Maybe it's simply easier for them to release the same thing everywhere. I wish there were less restrictions.

There are people who like slow burn and there are also those like me who don't mind it if it's done well, but this obviously wasn't supposed to be like that. It's not fair to the story, viewers, or those who participated in the making of it to do this. Hopefully they calm down in the future with cutting scenes and censorship. It ruins so many dramas that could have been great.
I agree with the comments. It's crazy how they give 40 episodes to dramas that shouldn't be longer than 16-20, but then give this one 25. We only have a few left and despite enjoying it, it's really frustrating because it's obvious things are missing. Leads' relationship would benefit so much if we had at least 5 more episodes. The whole arc with FL's power being sealed also won't be developed as it should. This drama had so much potential and they ruined it. It is what it is though... Let's hope we at least get some romantic moments in the last episode.
I'm about to rewatch it because I'm not ready to let go of this drama as much as Gao wasn't ready to let go of wanting to be better than LX. I'm so jealous of all those who will start this drama now. I wish I could do the same. Everything was great. Music, acting, chemistry, very natural physical affection, it's simply great in every sense. I'm excited about future projects of both leads!
Women helping and supporting each other while achieving their dreams makes me so happy. It's rare to see such relationships and female characters in period dramas. They always have to have at least one or two female characters that are bad people and play to stereotypes. It's so nice to see not everything being about men and love, but also their personal aspirations. Wonderful drama with great acting and chemistry. One of the best ones I've watched in a while.
I've noticed it throughout the drama, but put it aside since he has had a hard life and was still young. LX's treatment of ZY has always irked me. Making her feel less, embarrassing her, trying to lower her self-esteem. I only decided to ignore it because I expected the writers would give her a character development. She mostly looked for ways to please him and be considerate, a favor he rarely or never returns when it matters the most. I also understood that due to his circumstances he couldn't prioritize his mental health and therapy so maybe he'll change "naturally". However, once you're a real adult, plan future together, have a business together, you can't act like that anymore. Not only was he unprofessional, but he was disrespectful as a romantic partner as well. If you knew her parents would never change, why waste her (and your) time? Why treat her like she's not important and expendable? And then we see her still in the same condition in the future, no development. It's ok to love and be tolerant, but at some point you have to ask yourself if you're getting as much as you're giving.
Also, her parents being abusive mentally and physically while simultaneously saying he's not good for her is tragicomical. Detaining an adult is a crime and since they keep talking about righteousness, it doesn't really make sense, does it? Acting all high and mighty while they're trash humans.
I agree with you. I wish we had a few scenes post kiss. But i also understand that time jump was necessary for…
I'm fine with the time jump, it would happen eventually anyway. I'm only disappointed it was so fast. They could have done it differently and they had enough episodes to do it.
I don't think I've had anything to complain about until these last two episodes. I wish the time jump wasn't so quick. We should have seen their relationship in its beginning stages considering their dynamic before it. They could have given us a bit more since the drama has so many episodes. Otherwise I really like it. Leads have amazing chemistry and kiss scenes didn't disappoint at all. I'm glad no one saw my reaction to them because it wasn't flattering lol
I'm so excited about this. I was waiting for another ZJY project after watching Fall In Love because I really liked her in it. It seems like chemistry will be great in this drama as well!
Every single line that comes out of his mouth sounds like something from Wattpad lol I wonder how many times actors laughed and cringed when filming this. I like it though. It's one of those guilty pleasure dramas.
