You worded it so well. As someone who is a ride or die for this show I am definitely here with you. The plot is still great but the writting to show why the investigation mattered really got lost by the second half. Like they didn't establish the new element of the caretaker well enough for us to care. Also I think after ep 7 they had to hold back on skinship and stuff because it was getting "too gay" Episode 9 and 8 would have had more skinships(when they were at the hospital or when Shiro was crying in ep 9) if we continued with the progress but they really held back on it for some reason. I am really praying for either a s2 or a movie tbh. I need them a bit more.

It's abandonment issues. He had insecurities about himself and he thought he wasn't good enough for SeoJoon. And he was jealous of all the people that he had while he had no one. He was afraid that SJ will realize he was not worth his time and leave him. So he left first. Also he mentioned how he felt guilty about being happy alone when his parents are dead and won't be happy. And he had to be mean to be SJ cause he knew if he told him the truth, he would latch onto him even harder.

The only BL that had an even better S2. Literally perfection.

For those of you who are debating about the show being worth it or not, a friendly reminder that this series is 16 episodes long and each ep is 25 min. It's not going to have the same pace as typical Korean BL.. Not to mention if you are familiar with how regular kdramas are formatted, an average kdrama usually uses the first 2 ep for setup and then the show starts flowing. So for this drama, it's going to be the first 4 episodes. From the looks of it there seems to be a lot of plot points like their childhood background and a lot of other stuff. I would say give it a try tbh. I went to watch it with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was in comparison.

Does anyone know where to watch it officially, Either Japanese sites or international. I already watched it on unofficially but I would love to watch it officially. Or is it just a DVD thing??
