not really tbh. I saw S1 long time ago and honestly i forgot most of it and didn't want to rewatch before watching this. You can honestly watch this standalone. theres a few call backs to previous season but it's integrated in this one so you can understand what's going on. I would recommend watching S1 just cause it's good though lol

I am not sure if it will be Inukai but I think his role in "Saretagawa no Blue" was a lonesome/shy dork. I know he does mostly comedy genre but he is a good enough actor to pull it off tbh.

Can anyone explain how he can be an accomplice for Dojuns murder when in the beginning he literally did not remember who Dojun was? Like when the first accident happened he finally remembered that Dojun was the grandson that died. So how is it possible that he kept the evidence of this murder conspiracy for 20 years when he literally did not remember this man. Make it make sense.
