There is a love triangle (more like a square), but none of the relationships are toxic. They all love the FL, but they all want to protect her and want her to be happy, too. As for the FL, she never wavers. There is just one man for her.

Me, too! In Itaewon Class, I consider it a love story between Park Sae Ro Yi, with Asperger's, and Jo Yi Seo, who was a definite sociopath. Loved their dynamic.

Sometimes, it's enjoyable to hate-watch something. I read a book I absolutely hated, and I urged my friend to read it so that I could vicariously hate-read it with her. The little joys of life!

Having complained about My Lethal Man, I've got to admit that I find Fan Zhi Xin's acting mesmerizing. I watched him in Dear Liar, a short, low-budget affair, and he singlehandedly saved that drama.

As questionable as it gets. If there's a plot, it's obscured by glistening abs, hemorrhoid surgery, and instant healing from stab wounds. Logic has no place, but, oddly, one doesn't care.

I didn't love this as much as the MDL community. Some dramas just hit differently.

Let me know if you can finish it. I'm putting it off, because I know it won't be a happy ending: the serial killer will be separated from his library, and that's all I care about at this point!

Lazy writing drives me insane. When a writer has to make the characters blithering morons, it ruins a drama for me. When the FL in Rooftop Prince blithely climbed into her known enemy's car and ended up in the back of a freezer truck, I considered it a mercy killing; it was a miracle she'd survived that long. I had to stop watching The Girl Who See Scents, because everyone but the serial killer was dumb as a box of rocks. I was actively rooting for the killer. He had lots going for him: although he had prosopagnosia, he didn't let his disability deter him from being a success at business or serial killing; he had a killer home library (pun intended); and he was played by Namkoong Min.

Didn't Lady Maeda say FL's mother had taken something from her? I was wondering if she'd been interested in FL's father back then.

I enjoyed all your comments. I couldn't help feeling the same. I kept pausing the drama every time something was too stupid to swallow, so it took me much longer to watch than I'd planned! I call those moments 2 Stupid 2 Live (2S2L). Like FL gets kidnapped in a taxi, and she keeps trying the locked door and never once picks up her phone to call anyone. Or she climbs in the back of a trailer when she knows her life is in danger. Or they know everyone is looking for the brooch which will give the company to the owner, and people have DIED for it, and ML won't ask FL if she has it because he wants to "protect" her. Or when she does tell him she has it, she says, "Stop by tomorrow." This, even though her place has been ransacked for it before. Let's not have a sense of urgency about it!

For all my complaints, I liked the ML. My only quibble with him (other than fighting four men with a tie, while protecting drunk FL—super ridiculous) is that I wish he hadn't fallen apart toward the end. I don't think "dangerous" men give up like that.

I've been listening to the OST when I walk. I know it's pure sugar, but I get pep in my step when Soda Pop starts playing!

One of my favorites from the OST. Love the lyrics, especially, "You say you're no good, but you're good for me." Also, "We can't fix it if we can't face it." Beautiful words and music.

I agree. It has Korean culture, mythology, food, and traditions. It features K-pop music and stars voices of Koreans. I realize it's spoken mostly in English and has a multi-international production team, but One Piece made MDL.
