Lol. I think our definition of drama is different. I find it the other way around. Although I have watched far less lakorns. Since most are not subbed.

I agree. Which sucks. I have been fortunate to find one the last year that was one of the best I have ever seen so I continue watching for the occasional diamond in the rough.

I hate watch all the time since I seen so many it hard to find ones that truly make me fall for their story. I get about 1-3 I really love each year.

Right. Technically Days of our Lives is a series but is classified as a soap opera. Just like a Lakorn. Which is technically a Thai soap opera.

Lol but I 100% agree that some of their evening drama series can be just as dramatic.

Lankorn lean towards American daily soap opera style. Over dramatized. Most that have international watchers usually have it toned down. It’s hard to tell what your getting when you start a Thai drama. I have gotten use to it but don’t prefer it so it good to get the comment to let others know.

Zeni Geba and Namida wo Fuite are both good dramas. I thought they both tackled what they were going for very well plus have top tier actors in them.

Asian dramas are the only reason I pay for Netflix, Viki, WeTV and IQIYI. Almost ever I want to see can be found on those. My other suggestion would be GagaOolala for BL watchers.
