Basically agree with everybody else: started off so strong but slowly fell, especially that mid ending. Love our leads, but wish their story as a couple was shown more than their work life. Idk, I just had really high expectations from the trailer I guess.
Just randomly logged on before bed to find the early release rumors were true… but everybody is annoyed?! They CUT the scenes we were so looking forward to?!?! Man… so if I want to see I can only see through the bts?? And blaming it all on censorship is :/ bc cmon there are plenty of cdramas with much more PDA to the point where you can’t watch with family… But still, I have such low expectations now— such a shame, since I was so excited for this since the trailer :(

I love xianxia because the stories are heavy but honestly so much deeper. I'm not sure why I can't immerse into this one yet though, so I'm going to keep trying to watch it slowly :) ty

Oh no, I've watched PLENTY of xianxia, and I usually love the whole despair-turned-maturity stories they all have because I feel like it adds so much depth to a drama. I just don't know why it's not as intriguing as I feel like it should be :/ Not giving up though haha

On episode 4 now, and I can't wait til he falls out of love with the peacock princess. So far she isn't as evil as her parallel from ALP but I can sense things brewing... can't have a wuxia(xianxia?) without some good person actually being worse than the antagonists.

idk why but as a fan of the cast, as well as this genre, it's surprisingly hard to watch even one episode.. :/
