Just finished-- here are my thoughts. -The main couple is adorable. 90% is because of the ML honestly, he's such a ray of sunshine. He has a strong pride so may come off as stubborn sometimes, but he's like the only moral and smart character lol. He looks at things from a moral standpoint, though he ofc has a bias towards the FL. I really dislike her character but it did get a little better in the end. A little. -Side characters are all so cute. Honestly, usually they can be a bit annoying or boring, but I actually found them all really cute. -Main conflict was kind of ehh because I feel like everyone made it so much bigger than it was supposed to be. Characters have nemesis-like relationships because of it but they get resolved out of nowhere as if three years didn't just go by for them to resolve the issue. -Overall, very cute and a quick watch. I came to this bc of CJH and he did not disappoint 🤍

Yeah just remember to use .pa instead of the million other ones. There may be more than one that uses minimal ads, but usually it's just this one. They change their extension every once in a while but you can still use the one you're used to and then when you search it'll automatically transfer you over. If for some reason it doesn't work the site I used to use was kisskh.me They had a lot too but I haven't used it in a while because of their popups. Don't know how it's like now though.
I watch kdramas/cdramas on dramacool.pa if I want subtitles. Dramacool has several extensions, but this one is the only one I could find that has no ads or pop ups (with adblock) on my computer. If watching on your phone, I don't have any adblock software installed so there is one or two popups when you click the play button for an episode but just exit it and it should be fine. Once it reaches full screen you can press any button you want, since popups are associated with the website not the playback (fullscreen) screen. A lot of other websites like myasiantv kissasian or kisskh have way too many ads and honestly most are inappropriate and look like they'll give my device a virus.
So far ep 5... Plot is okay, but honestly I'm just watching for our adorable ML. Side plot is honestly not too shabby either-- the only thing bothering me is the FL. She's really getting on my nerves. Doesn't speak up for herself, lets others step all over her and treat her like poop, doesn't confront her feelings, and just acts so weak. I thought she would be strong willed by how she loves her sport and wanted to make a comeback. But nope. No offense but the whole "can I allow myself to win" mentality just sounds like she's victimizing herself rather than the typical "nice character so sacrifices self for others" leads we've seen before. Still going to finish, but nonetheless not the biggest fan of her. She's lucky the ML is so charming lol I really hope this changes in the later episodes.

No I personally love a good story even if there's not much <3 til later. The Long Ballad was one, but I think in the end it's more of a clever plot and execution that makes a drama really interesting for me. As long as it doesn't have a bunch of filler side plots, etc.. I'll give it a go:) thanks!
Should I watch this? I just finished ep 2 but not so sure if it's worth continuing... Love the leads, as I'm a fan of both's works, but traditional cdramas are longer than what I'm used to and found myself dropping around half of the ones I've started. The trailer looked amazing but I feel like I'm going to have to wait too long til the story progresses to my liking, so thought I'd just ask to save some time. I feel like there are a lot of unnecessary side characters/stories too that I'll find myself skipping over. How'd everyone like it?? Honest answers pls-- no plot spoilers!
TBH I'm not really expecting too much because I'm worried it'll follow King the Land with level 10 expectations and level 5 delivery. The cast is of course beautiful but I'm really hoping the plot and acting live up to the hype this time. So far seeing much potential; guess I gotta wait.
Love seeing the combination of comedy and sadness, along with the great potential for such amazingness in the episodes upcoming. yeah that confusing especially when English requires pronouns for specificity... I also speak Korean where he/she is nonexistent so I can understand when a direct translation may not include them but it kind of makes sense to have them in subtitles rightt :( never could watch this btw lol I totally forgot about it until I got your comment notification^
Just rewatched this randomly and though I skipped through it the second time through, it was still really cute. The eye candy was a good addition to the cute moments throughout... such a shame it didn't become as big as it should've thanks to all the controversy, but at least it had an okay amount of international attention. :D
How does every episode make me teary? The small things really are so heartwarming, making this such a masterpiece. Like in the previous episode, when showing the past with RanJoo and her music teacher sacrificing everything to make her a singer. These small things really really touch your heart. And like I said from the beginning, of course BoGeol is Kiho. I just can't wait to see everything from his perspective-- like when he found Mokha. They better show that, because they really did well hiding his reaction with her from the start. Next episode seems like such a masterpiece.
