On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 17, 2026
First time in 2 years I have binge watched a whole K-Drama. 8.5/10. If you like the leads then it will be 10/10 like me. I especially loved the fact that the Male Lead never let misunderstandings fester up and the story wasn't dragged and even the side characters gave you closure. The only reason I give 8.5/10 was because the ending felt a bit rushed. Which is why I believe some people gave lower scores.

Good Story but it's dragged so much. 7/10 because of pacing. First 4-5 episodes were interesting and well paced...after that there is way too much recycling of situations between leads and the average episode run time of 80+ minutes doesn't help either. Possibly the most overrated drama of the year on pacing alone. Only Kwak Dong Yeon gave me enough strength to finish. He needs his own lead role again.

i can see how this show could have been a hit in 2015. the ml's acting is suberb, you can really tell which alter…
I just watched it now and gave a 10/10. It also depends on the perspective. Yes there were a few nitpicks which could have made it 8 or 9 but I decided to forgo that for Jisung's Acting and a very interesting plot. I have been having trouble finishing dramas lately but I binged this in 3 days. Also, you have to understand that the FL was a first year resident, not an experienced fellow or attending. So I can see some of the over the top behaviour as personality quirks. But if you go past those, she's very smart, competent and perceives things fast as a doctor. Like the handling of Yo Sub and the scene by the ocean where she figures out ML intentions by how he's acting.

randomly remembered the music to this after 8 years 😭 haven't been keeping up with dramas in about 5 years,…
You can check my list from my profile. Some suggestions though: Good Manager, 18 Again, Gauss Electronics, Mr. Queen, Hometown Chacha, Crazy Love, Familiar Wife (same ML), Twinkling Watermelon, At a Distance Spring is Green. All of these dramas have a good pacing, meaningfulness in their own ways and satisfying endings. Cheers.

I was skeptical about watching this one because of some of the comments here but it was actually really good.…
All three were amazing. Comments are biased AF because half don't get what a slice of life is and other half doesn't have the brain power to understand metaphors and the point of the show. If you watch the show with the premise in mind and look underneath the underneath you really get to enjoy it.

i’m on episode 9 and its getting harder and harder to watch purely because of the female lead is ABSOLUTELY…
I loved her. She was so understanding, Jihoon was the one who messed up yet she came around right away when Jihoon told her why he ghosted her for two days after standing her up as well. She had a backbone in the relationship and was also uber understanding of NSH staying at her boyfriend's place. Biased as comment lol.

I liked this drama but I feel like it dragged a bit, the last episode was unnecessary
Nah, I feel like it was needed to show the character growth of the entire group and tie up some loose ends.

Amazing show, great character development and maintained a focus on friendship and getting through hardships by leaning on people instead of just enduring pain alone. The few commenters trashing either have trash attention spans or just came into watching the show with negative bias due to blond MC or they didn't get behind the romance. Watch and decide for yourself. I binged first 11 eps in one sitting. Only reason it gets 9.5/10 for me is because couple of things were left too open ended even though that itself was the point as this is a slice of life.

well thank goodness you didn’t watch then 🙏and we didn’t need to know all this you could have just ignored…
AND you didn't need to interact to my comment and be an ass but you did. We all do stupid things out of curiosity or for calling people out because they don't like your favourite K-drama/actor.

From comic side role to lead main role, Kang Ki Young is shinning like a diamond! He's featuring in The Uncanny…
Yeah, he's the reason I made it to episode 10 of Secretary Kim. He makes even mediocre dramas bearable for me. So glad he's finally getting the recognition. Almost didn't recognize him in Uncanny Counter 2

I was hesitant to watch this cuz of Cha Eun Woo and his dull ass acting but I wanted to give it a go cuz I loved FL in Celebrity. Now comments making me think I made a great decision. Been enjoying TF out of Death's Game and Modern Farmer. Can't get enough of Kwak Dong Yeon.

Tbh...it will be cathartic. Give it a go. Also, go for Good Manager if you want more comedic vibe with a great story.
