IDK why C-ent become such weird place now. Back than was not as crazy as now with new rules that can be imposed anytime. I really miss 2016-2018 Cdramas. Lot of good dramas came out that time. Last year probably the best year for C-ent before so many new rules coming. I came to Cdrama because I wanted to escape political correctness that plaguing western entertainment. But now it is just get weird.

Cdrama do not sell big on global market. People are too overestimated their self. China is the only market to make money and there are so many rules imposed recently.
