LOL. But yes! I cried a little inside seeing the GIFs so I don't know how I'll do it later. I know DYX will deliver with the tears. 🥺

So I know the ending of lifetime 2 is coming today but these GIFs from the official weibo page does not help. I'm already bawling looking at them. 😭😭

Oh, I don't think I could watch that livestream. DYX already makes me cry in all his dramas with how good he emotes his feelings. I'm always a mess. But that reminds me why I need to prepare for tonight's episode. Going to go find those tissues. lol

I love the way you worded this. I sometimes come on and want to join in on a discussion for the drama but it's bombarded with actor/actress fans arguing instead. I have my own biases too but I prefer to keep that for my own personal enjoyment. I rather discuss the drama because some times I need to know if I'm missing something or can relate to someone about the drama before I think I'm crazy for overthinking certain plot points. I don't want to filter through arguments about why someone is "better".

What you said makes a lot of sense too, but I may have just set myself up for disappoint with the novel aspects. That was the case in the novel and even though it's not "real" we can still feel the impact of this lifetime once they return but that may all be because of their reason for going through the tribulations was different. I appreciate your insight though, I do agree about both of them falling for their real selves. I'm sure by then, it'd be even more touching. It's my first time watching YCY so I was nervous but am keeping an open mind.

Ok this I'm fine with too. I had a hunch with his inner monologue when he hoped she wouldn't be mad at him when she finds out the truth. But I'm wondering if that was indicated towards his mortal self or immortal self.

If it still follows true as the novel, then #1 definitely happens when they return but he's in denial for a while. As for #2 and 3 I agree! I was wondering if the leads would question it because this isn't "best friend" behavior. And I hope they don't use the excuse of, "Oh, he was only like that because he drank the drink." They should be smarter than that.

This lifetime was my favorite in the novel but dear god, I preferred it much better when the "third prince" wasn't so significant and had a mere 2-3 paragraphs in this lifetime I'm trying to be patient and understand the purpose of his character for the overall story. If he's team evil, I'm fine with it. I just hope they develop his character to make it worth adding him in. If by the end, his main purpose was just because he also liked XY from 30,000 years ago and didn't want Chu Kong to have her, I'd flip tables. Make it make sense please. I usually find characters like him to have a bigger purpose so I hope this is the case. I don't think he drank the amnesia water either because when he talked to his father, he said Xiangyun and I have known each other for a long time with a weird tone.

I still feel some what of a disconnect with LCK and XY'S story. I don't know why I can't feel the chemistry 100%. However, Ding Yuxi is portraying LCK well. He's too precious. It was such a sweet moment when he gave her the hairpin.

It's a HE in the novel, but things have changed a lot in the drama so the ending is unsure at this point.

Thanks for the recommendation! I plan on being fully focused with this one but if I need an extra to fill me in, I'll check it out. 😁 I get too overwhelmed with all these dramas now a days. Too many to choose from. Not enough time. 😕
