Yes, it has to be specifically Wuxia - not even period dramas. I am watching a 2017 drama "Chef Fang" total 36 episodes, now I am at 23 and no urge to carry on... :(

I guess 24 episodes is the max allowed for silly, light hearted romance dramas as the contents normally is limited. The rest will be the aesthetics as well as the chemistry between the leads to keep it going.

LOL, the Chinese title makes sense - if I were translate it'll be "Dear Lord King of Medicine" or even King of Herbs (or medicinal herbs).

Yes I am glad too that the head nurse part wasn't too stretched - I roll my eyes whenever she appears with the smirk on her face, like she is laughing at the people behind the camera or TV. Ah and all the wild theories, luckily it didn't come out if not it will be more farfetched. The charm of the drama for me was the moments between the actors and how they presented it - simple and beautiful. Intense that I needed to rewind 30 secs to read the subtitles again. Lol, she must be so manipulative that she can even make all the leads come before the police :)
Anyway, there will always be loopholes just whether how they presented it - and some may think it is too elaborate and some like it dramatic. For me the show has been really realistic until this head nurse can successful manipulate everything but fail in the end.

Yeah probably. Suddenly her top priority is to manipulate and not her precious princess whom she didn't hesitate to kill GT's mom with just a comment. And so she decide to inject him with anesthetic instead of poison. Too much guess work lol.

Yeah I read this as well earlier today and way before this I thought about the father having hallucination about himself killing the Mother. However I feel that there is a threshold of how much you should entitle the viewers to guess. We are not the characters so we cannot see from their perspective without having a clearer picture. So why did the mom need to have plastic surgery, did the police already know she killed someone or? From the perspective if she is really the mom, I would have poisoned ST and later inject GT with poison to ensure that MY really become alone. Why drug them and then try to kill them with a pen? Her Modus operandi? I can guess but I'll like the answer too.
