Actually he realised that he likes her so in the recent episodes mentioned that she is his "injury" (weak spot)... and the FL overhearing the conversation with his aunt part - he said that she is as important as his bro when the aunt suggested that they should separate if the emperor killed his bro. What I don't like about the ML is that he suddenly didn't have a mind of his own... he didn't trust his feelings to he open about the setup and just got influenced by Bai. And the part when the FL decided to be open about her secret, he just shut her out. Isn't him the one to tell her to be open and now he completely just thinks about his own problems. This is just a case the FL loves the ML more drama.

It seems they are indebted to the green dress girl and there was a scene with XY lamenting to CY that does he have to give up his marriage? We haven't actually seen them going through the wedding itself but even so, the marriage in this drama seems to be just like they dating... can just break off anytime. Not that it is ok, but I'd rather see that the heartache coming from a situation than like coming from a lead, like what GT and XY did to their FL.

Agree, though I didn't really think much of her in the beginning, I am really impressed with her after she realises her feelings. She knows what she want and has he own smart opinions. The ML at the point is rather weak, don't really like him. Episode 17 is my least fav so far.

No problem at all if it helps and if I have time. C-Dramas many a time make the FL get into trouble due to stupidity and need others to bail her out. Many times they even "uglify" the FL. For MY and GT, I am actually super crazy about MY and not so for GT LOL. Ues I hope it does why with 15 episodes left, so far no boring moments, and it is really good that she has her own opinion. This ML on the other hand is so easily swayed and not forthcoming at all. He wants the FL to be truthful to her yet doesn't listen to her when she talks.

The hooded man promised the lady on the ice bed to bring her on a tour when she wakes up. His men reported that XY went to worship his brother and XY suspected that his brother was killed by the emperor. They know of the birthday celebration XY prepared for CY, and knew they had to seize the chance to capture her.
XY came to fetch CY and is filled with pride seeing her in the outfit he gave her. The onlookers were envious of them.
LJ went to learn swordplay from XY’s teacher and was told to learn the special skill from NN. NN was reluctant because of their previous encounters and LJ explained it was by accident that he saw her in her undergarments at the courtesan house. NN told him that she had worked to please the XY and does not care to practice anymore since XY is not into her. LJ admired her persistence in love.
Cash rewards was given to onlookers for CY’s birthday celebration, forming a crowd. NN is sadden when she saw the couple and LJ claimed that if XY doesn’t want her, he will take her. With that comment he got a tight slap from NN. NN and XY grew up together and during the war she would pray that XY to return safely to marry her. Now he is back he married the princess instead. LJ believed that NN is not really pinning for XY, but it was merely her stubbornness.
XY was hiding away from CY to observe the surrounding for danger as he feared for the safety of CY. Bai mentioned he should not be worried now since that according to plan they will ease the security only when they reach the celebration venue.
The venue is a mansion gifted to XY by a nobleman when he saved his family during the North war. This property is really sought after and famous, and it is not easy even to arrange a visit. XY intended to give this mansion to CY as her birthday present.
In fact it was due to place being secluded and surrounded by mountains that XY and Bai knows it is a good spot to lure the hooded man’s men. The hooded man planned for his men to enter using the fireworks as cover, and he hopes that this time they will succeed so he can revive the lady on the ice bed.
CY intended to take the opportunity to confess her feelings to XY during the celebration, void the divorce letters and live happily ever after. As she was practicing her speech, NN appeared wearing the same outfit as her. The abductors appeared at this moment and got confused with them wearing the same; decided to capture both. NN fought off the abductors and XY in order to camouflage herself changed into the abductor’s outfit and was forced to leave with them.
XY discovered that plan has gone wrong and CY is in danger. He ordered for a search rescue. XC appeared on hearing what happened, gave XY a punch and a piece of mind. They made a bet that whoever finds CY first, he will have to right to be with her.
The abductors discovered the identity of CY during the journey back. They tied her up and she tried her best to delay them for XY to catch up. He managed to do so and a confrontation ensues.

Nice to see you here as well! I was just watching an Netflix interview with the trio moments ago! I guess this is a good backup though it probably cannot fill up the emptiness especially with the bad Eng Sub that I am hearing so often. Sorry that I am only doing the Eng recap for some episodes. If you are at episode 12, you have 6-7 more episodes of sweetness to go before needing to switch to the emotional mode. This show is really quite different from others whereby I'll find the FL questionable as C-Dramas often tend to portray them as so. I find the FL more "direct" than the ML in this... abit like our MY as compared to GT. :D

Darn! The show is starting to be sad... :'( Really really like the character of the FL, even much more than the ML. She's so strong, mature and understanding, really unlike those silly FLs in other dramas of similar genre.

Yes the setup that got ML into danger actually worked in the in the ML's favor as he once saved her again. However towards the end the SML found out so he is bound to do something. The gap is because he needed to find out if the emperor is responsible for the brother's death and he asked for a month to investigate. He wanted to keep a distance. What I am not happy is that the woman you love is hanging by a rope because of some stupid trap you set... instead of pulling her to safety you keep asking about someone who is dead. Sure it affects the FL as well but that shouldn't be the reaction.
