red flag, colour blind, lol, hats off!

am watching the drama but can't help but think the screenplay could have been better written to keep viewers glued to the couch. As it is I find it actually quite flat, as opportunities are there but merely scratch the surface then got written off, failing to develop, to captivate excitement, anticipation and involvement from viewers.

I wouldnt know, I didn't read the novel, I seldom do as I prefer to watch cdramas without any prior knowledge, so no comparison.

The only character I think superfluous and awkward is Bai Sui Lin, the woman in disguise as man, a role created to fill up screen time.

poor editing, scenes are not sequenced properly, they are jumpy and discontinued.

looks so promindgythis drama!!

they look good together in the drama, this is all that counts for me as viewer. Their real age has no bearing as long as they fit the role they cover and are compatible in appearance and acting.

no idea, but I have seen him in another drama before (legend of Shen Li), he had similar expressions as in this one, so little or no progress, but hey I like the storyline here...

The female lead is a good choice for the role, she has the soft and gentle on the surface look but stone hard determination on the inside. However am finding the male lead He Yu's performance perfunctory, he plays the role but isn't the role, he lacks in depth and is unexpressive.. I am however definitely pursuing the drama as I have a weakness for strong female lead storylines and the choice of the female lead is very befitting to the role. Hopefully the male lead might perform better as the drama moves on. Acting is not an easy profession, some have talent while others need to build up with experience and hard work.

the background music in ep.1 when she and her followers were stitching up the injured prince is really apt and pleasant to the ears.

a great choice of the leads for the story, they are so natural in the roles they cover.

I have enjoyed watching Ai Mi whenever she appeared in dramas, this should be the first main FL role she covers, the previews show a fabulous looking girl with eyes that look straight into the camera and smiles that go beyond our eyes. I do think pairing up with Hau Ming Hou is a good choice, his acting skills are very penetrating, natural and heart felt and they both look handsome together. I don't check their real age, it is not necessary and has no bearing on them playing alongside each other, as long as they look good together and deliver what is expected by the project, and yes projects do matter a great deal for the overall success. Let's hope the drama is well written, directed and produced.

totally agree, it is also his protective instinct for a girl a little younger than he himself is and brought into his home, in similar pitiful situation with the sole parent.

I am taking a tiny pause, as soon as it comes to the present time I'll binge watch.

can't wait for the drama to move up to present time.

someone mentioned that It has the vibe of Speed into love, well it is all new to me since I can't watch anything with Esther Yu in It. Song Weilong knows how to pick scripts, he is really good in his role here and I am enjoying it with the female lead, she too is so befitting. Fingers crossed, hope am going to enjoy this drama from start to finish.
