So now everyone likes ming cause he cried long enough for people to forgive him😒 I'm sorry there's no growth…
I second this. Ming would've had to do soooo much more to get a chance at forgiveness. Also disappointed in Joe how he is managing his new life. He chose the life of a contract sex worker for Ming, the man who destroyed his life instead of accepting help from friends. He doesn't make any sense except if he has Stockholm Syndrome. I wanted Ming to really fight for him, instead of what we got. I loved the series so much up until Ming kidnapped him and it's never quite lived to my expectations since. Not enough character growth for me.
But for a family so conservative, they let her marry an actor with a shitty background. Tong's dad's business…
This. A conservative family would have also found it Ming's preference for men and they would have married him off to a woman from a wealthy family. These families are always watching their children as haws and leverage them to get more influence in their community.
Am I the only one who is slightly disappointed, because Ming isn't destroying Tong the way I imagined lol. I want…
I'm super disappointed as well. The only way Ming could have redeemed himself in my eyes was if it had wiped the floor with Tong or any person who could hurt Joe.
I feel like this is a bit over-hyped and it's this popular mainly to the controversy. It's not a bad show I enjoyed it overall, but it wasn't anything that memorable and I can't say I'll ever want to rewatch this.
People seem to fall into two extremes with this show, they either hate it and give it a low rating or they think it's the best think ever created and rate it 10 stars trying to counteract the nay-sayers.
I can't say I fall into either one of these. The show started out great, but it lost steam with each passing episode. I personally didn't love Song Yi Heon/Kim Deuk Pal that much, nor the other characters. I get the idea behind it, it's cool, but something felt off. The acting was fine, the plot was fine, it was surprisingly bromancy considering I expected zero vibes since I heard it was censored. But the vibes were there and that was a plus for me. But I just felt something was missing (non-BL related) and I wasn't in any hurry to watch the next episode, it took me a good while to finish and if I'm honest, I was kinda bored. Maybe my expectations were too high after seeing the rating and I thought for sure I was gonna be obsessed with it but in the end I was just 'meh'.
