I don't get this uptight acting around each other. I mean they didn't necessarily need to kiss but the head patting was cringe. It's like somebody's holding a gun to the actors' head and forcing them to act together. It all looks fake and forced.

These commenters always accusing people not linking the series because of lack of kissing are bonkers. The Japanese version doesn't have any kissing and I loved it to death. It's crazy that they're trying to explain the series to me since I've watched the original and read and own the manga series. In this adaptation the acting is shite, the production is shite, the ads are shite. I didn't originally hate this series despite being disappointed but more I see comments like this OP's the more I start hating it.

I agree, I don't hate it but I'm very disappointed. I couldn't point point exactly what so maybe it's everything: I don't feel any chemistry between Atom and K, not like in My School President, the episodes are too long for the material they have, the editing is bad, the ads are unbearable. I've been fast fwding through the last 5 episodes because I'm so bored. I am grieving because I loved the original My Love Mix-Up so much and I just can't get into this.

The majority of people love this show and they'll watch anything GMM releases so nothing's gonna change. I'm a disappointed because it feels the show was created just to use a beloved coupling and use them as props for endless adds but I can take it or leave it I guess.

The product ads are getting worse and worse, they are super grating.

Yup, I'm way more invested into Mudmee and Half, I don't know why but I'm not feeling the main couple they feel like buddies to me. And it's not about skinship and whatnot, I've watched the original Japanese version and it barely has any but I still loved it and them.

I'm not feeling it either, I'm just fast forwarding through the episodes to get to the end.

The development is a little slow for me but I can handle it. The chemistry was there from the beginning, you can see from Takara's reactions and gestures that he is not indifferent but he's repressing his feelings. After episode 6, it's clear why. The casting is pretty much perfect, in my eyes. The manga was indeed much too short and fast paced.

I don't know why, but I have the suspicion this series will pull a Cherry Magic and we won't see a kiss. I hope I'm wrong.
