I completely agree. After episode 1 there is nothing they could do that would make me sympathetic to her. They went too far and she's pretty much irredeemable tome.

If I don't care about your FL because you've made them so unlikeable then I'll struggle to finish the show, which is exactly what's happening. On episode 2 and struggling to continue. I don't know why the FL acts the way she does, and I don't care, because the writing has done nothing to make me care. The writing is poor. Will probably drop this.

I'm on episode 1 and I guess I'm supposed to care about his asshole wife getting kidnapped but I definitely don't. They made her too unlikeable for me to care. Rooting for that other woman but I don't think she'll play a big role in this sadly.

I really enjoyed the first half of this drama but right around episode 9 it becomes too repetitive. It was a real slog getting through the second half. Didn't need to be 16 episodes.

On episode 3 and the female lead is an unbearable moron. I assume the writer believes her stupid actions are giving girlboss, but no, they're just giving stupid. That's all. I'll drop this if her stupidity doesn't stop. 😂

Yes it is a taboo subject but it is well written and that's all I ask for from my dramas. I'm not the morality police, especially when it comes to fiction, and this was an entertaining watch with genuine chemistry between the leads.

I'm glad I stopped listening to yall a long time ago. 😂 This was really good. The ML specifically is probably one of my favorite kdrama characters in a long time. He feels like a real person, I love the way he was written. I also enjoyed the love story. Yes there was a SML but his relationship with the FL was surface level. The emotional and uninhibited love story was clearly between the aunt and the uncle and I loved it.

I didn't mind the storyline but for me personally it was the actor that threw everything off. Kim Go Eun has never had bad chemistry in this series until this season, which makes me feel like the ML was the issue. He's very cute but his performance was wooden, so even little things like him calling her noona felt forced instead of exciting. The kiss scenes were stiff too. I also agree that the season was too short, I didn't know what she loved about him or what he loved about her. I still enjoyed the it, mostly because of the cells, but I didn't feel connected to him like I did with Wong and Babi.

Yumi's Cells has never let me down. Though this is not my favorite coupling of the three seasons it is still such a unique, funny, and well-written series that I would recommend to anyone. I'm really glad I gave the first season a chance, it's been a wild ride and I will miss the cells most of all! ❤️

Another drama where a fully grown FL acts like a child. Constantly hiding behind her hair and running away like she's been shot just because some guy said he likes her. Annoying. Not my cup of tea.

It's funny but in a childish way. I doubt I'll make it through 20 episodes. I kind of understand the men but having a fellow grown woman freaking out at the sight of another woman breastfeeding is just stupid. That's just one scene of many that jumped the gun for me. It sucks because if the writing was a little less cartoonish it would be perfect. Lee Yi Kyung is the only cast member with the comedic timing to pull off this type of writing, the rest of them just give slapstick which feels like a chore to watch. I'll come back and write a full review if I'm actually able to finish it.

I was very excited about this because of the stellar cast but the first 2 episodes were a huge slog. The plot is not strong enough to keep me excited about what happens next and neither are the characters. I won't be counting down the days until the next episode because the writing has done nothing to make me care. 🤷‍♀️ I might come back and try to finish it at the very end but meh.

Haven't been this excited about a drama in a while. I love the entire cast, especially Kim Jung Hyun from my all time favorite kdrama Mr. Queen! 😭

I find the people constantly complaining about love triangles 10x more annoying than the actual love triangles. 😂

I really love this show so far. The characters are perfectly imperfect and the baby is to die for. So cute! The chemistry between the leads in also adorable as they're starting to crush on each other. I might wait until it's finished so I can binge it, I hate waiting for new eps when I'm loving a show this much!

I had no idea this was getting a season 3! Super excited!!!!

It might be understandable that his teen brother couldn't take care of him, but what is not understandable is that, once they became adults, his older brother continued having no contact with him after abandoning him, didn't bother to tell him he was getting married, and couldn't even be bothered to tell him that he had a whole child. We also know his older brother had his number the entire time and never bothered to call. The ML doesn't owe that man a damn thing. His anger makes complete sense in the narrative.

I love the way he looks. More romance please. 🙏

I actually agree with you about the ML. He was fine in episode 1 but when he showed up at her interview and made a scene in episode 2 I rolled my eyes. It was just a little too absurd. Like I could feel the writing going downhill in real time. Hopefully this won't be an ongoing issue because I really want to like this drama lol.
