Cdrama fans really can’t talk until they fix that horrific dubbing situation. I haven’t been able to finish a single Cdrama because of it and I’m sure a lot of them are good.

I was just coming here to say this because it’s not funny at all. I can’t even tell if they were trying to be funny and failed or if the tag is just wrong but I’m almost done with the first episode and haven’t laughed once.

Agreed. The love story doesn't work because they're trying to sell us the dark life of an idol and a parasocial fan fantasy all at once. The truth is, an idol who has saesangs breaking into his house regularly would never date a woman who has millions of expensive memorbillia with his face on it hidden in her attic, no matter what her reasoning is. So their love story isn't believable. A great friendship/partnership could work though.

Super excited about this one. Huge fan of both of them, I almost always love Park Min Young's choices in roles and I've been waiting forever for Wi Ha Joon to be the lead in a really good romance!

Not only is he handsome, he's above average handsome. I don't know about Korea, but if he was walking down any street in the US, he would stand out easily.

I hate how they're all talking directly to the camera. 😂 Will it be like this for the entire drama? Can I skip it without missing too much?

There was an idol named Kim Sung Jae who made the huge mistake of dating one of his saesangs and she poisoned him. He's DEAD. She got away with it because her family is rich. So yes, it's very realistic.

We won't know the killer until the end. That's the entire plot of the show. The romance is secondary.

I agree. I fear this drama is going to try to be two things at once--a raw look into the dark, lonely world of an idol, and also an unrealistic self-insert fantasy for the obsessed fans who are a big part of the reason why these idol's lives are so dark and lonely in the first place. Like you can't tell both of these stories at the same time, in a romantic way. There's nothing romantic about it, and it's not a facet of this drama that I'm going to enjoy even though it's obviously coming. I'll continue to watch only because I want to know who the killer is.

If you're gonna remake it I don't want any watered down, sanitized bs. Do the original justice or don't do it at all thx.

Idols can't date publicly without their fans having a meltdown, they can't go outside in peace because their fans stalk them, they can't even feel safe in their own homes because their fans follow them there too. I think more idols dislike their fans than you would think and there's definitely not a single idol in the world that would ever date one of their obsessed fans. It's clear this drama is really going to require a huge suspension of disbelief and to throw all common sense out of the window.

He's the only interesting part of the show. Him and Chung Jae. They're the only reason I'm still watching this.

Imagine thinking you're living safely in the home of your professional lawyer and then randomly find hundreds of posters, pillows, and t-shirts with your face plastered all over them, that she never told you about, hidden in her attic! That's WEIRD. He's probably worried she has hidden cameras in all the teddy bears too. He has no way of knowing she's not just as crazy as the lunatics who broke into his house. Wait until he finds out she cried over him having a girlfriend like a maniac. It's realistic that he would fire her and very unrealistic that he could ever fall in love with her after this. If I were him I would pack all my shit and go straight to a motel.

Flawed characters are what make a great story, but flawed does not equal annoying. I find both leads annoying.

So far I genuinely don't like either of the leads, they're both annoying. The ML is an idiot and the FL is literally a braindead kpop fangirl who thinks all idols are virgins. I can't stand fangirls on twitter and I can't stand it here. I have zero interest in seeing a romance between them. The side characters and the mystery is the only thing keeping me holding on.

You just need to calm down and not take things so personally. People are allowed to feel how they feel and they’re allowed to express it, regardless whether it’s negative or positive.
