Too many women on this site are raging misogynists so they'll always treat the ML like a helpless baby who's so wronged by the evil heartless FL. I love seeing a rich ML suffer so this show is right up my alley.

The villain was very one-dimensional and that's what killed this show. A villain 's characterization is just as important to the narrative as the main character and they failed miserably here. Too bad, it had potential.

One of my favorite slow burns of all time was Jim and Pam from The Office. Even though Jim was madly in love with Pam from the very beginning and she had no idea until the end it was still very much a slow burn all the way up until their first kiss and it was flawless! I agree @peaponi, it is the simmering tension that makes a slow burn great.

I love tropes. I don't know why everyone hates them so much, they're the most exciting part of a drama for me and never get old. Rich man/poor woman, FL in distress, sharing a bed, trapped on an island, unhealthily obsessed SML, it all does it for me. Give me all the tropes please.

Goodness gracious it’s been a long time since a drama has had me DYING for the next episode like this. Can’t wait to see Ji Hyeok and Da Rim’s explosive reunion. Give that man his baby, he earned it. 😅

Agreed this writing and production team really hit this drama out of the park for me. I love the execution in showing the character's internal conflicts and motivations.

The SFL will save the day because one thing she's definitely not doing is marrying that man lol

Omg the look on Ji Hyeok's face when he snatched her hand back from that man is one of the hottest things I've ever seen I fear. I love mess and I'm obsessed. 😂

I haven’t been this in love with a ML in a while and it’s all down to the writer and Jang Ki Young. They both have a new fan in me.

I actually love the way older kdramas are written. They don't spoon feed you the information and instead make you rely heavily on the character's reactions and expressions to guess what's going on as the story unfolds. I love this kind of storytelling and it seems to be missing in a lot of newer dramas, maybe because most of the newer actors aren't talented enough to tell a story with their eyes like the older ones could.

If women are nonchalant towards you, you should try becoming more attractive. Here's a hint: attractive men don't whine about their dating lives on MyDramaList. Hope this helps.

This drama turned me every which way but loose and I loved every second of it. Namkoong Min was phenomenal from beginning to end.

What kills me is how they decide we don’t need subtitles anymore when these characters are speaking “English”, like please for the love of god I have no idea what they’re saying. 😂

I can’t imagine genuinely getting mad at any character on this show, it is a comedy and very unserious. 😂

I think he got self conscious when she ran away from him after their kiss so he was trying to improve his skills 😂

The want a show like King the Land where the leads do nothing but make out and play bf/gf but that makes for a very boring show! I hope this writer keeps doing exactly what they're doing because it's great!
