WOW never been so dissapointed to see a cast change. I started this show despite the bad reviews and the first two seasons were literally GREAT but I cannot with these new cast members! Thankfully season 2 has enough closure for me to move on without feeling like I'm missing too much but damn.
Not all female friends are out to steal your man, this is fiction. Female friends can be the best soulmates you've ever had. If anything it's the male friends you have to look out for because they almost always have ulterior motives.
Listen to me this show is so good! The writing is on point. I understand now why this show has a bad rating on here. Because it's not your run of the mill corny romance that people love on here. But it's not a bad show. It's simply not going to deliver the unrealistic romantic fantasy that a lot of kdrama viewers are looking for, where everyone lives happily ever after. That's not what this show is about. It's right there in the title. So if that's what you're expecting, you should probably get the hell outta here. But for everyone else, you should really give it a shot. The characters are layered, their actions make sense for the way they've been characterized (even if you don't like them), and the narrative is gripping. Onto season 2!

Edit: Okay I'm 2 episodes in and it's really, really good! Solid writing, not corny, interesting characters, excellent plot, and little touches of humor too! It also looks like they're not going to drag this thing out for 16-20 episodes like they do with most kdramas so I expect the narrative to remain tight and fast-paced. Pretty good start!

I agree. Half of these surgeries make them look worse, not better. There are so many beautiful actors/actresses that I pray will not be manipulated into touching their faces because some of these surgeries look absolutely crazy and make the actors borderline unwatchable. I appreciate that Gong Yoo has done very little to his face, it's okay to age gracefully.

I think Gong Yoo will do great in whatever he does because he's truly a talented actor. I don't wish he'd choose different projects but I do wish he'd choose more of them so I can see him more.
I enjoyed the plot line and the first half was exciting. The pacing kind of fell apart for me in the second half but I'd still rather watch something like this than half the dramas coming out today so I won't complain too much. It was good.

I really loved this and laughed my butt off. Very adult themes but don't let that deter you, it is super charming and the FL is soooo cute! The unlikely friendship between the two women was everything! Every cast member hit the nail on the head, even the young daughter. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this, in a good way!
