Both ml and fl are super popular in Japan and do quite alot work there, modelling and "fan meeting concerts" for…
Cancel culture is not going to work on things that actually happened in history. Artists are not required to erase the past and pretend it never happened just because you are offended. Further, almost all good storytelling is making a political statement of some kind, some more subtle than others, everything is not a braindead romcom.
People watch dramas to escape reality. If people wanted to see normal visuals and faces they will go to the nearest…
This is not true at all. If a drama has beautiful people who are bad actors or the script is not well written, it doesn't matter how beautiful they are, I'm dropping it immediately. If all the characters are "normal" or "ugly" but the acting and writing is phenomenal, it's likely going to be one of my favorites that I think back on even years later. This kind of shallow mindset is why newer dramas these days are so much worse than the the older ones where the actors actually had talent and weren't only hired because of their "visuals". Visuals are nice but they are not enough to carry a show.
I liked it. The ML really carried this show on his back and had the strongest performance. He was absolutely hilarious and I would not have finished if it weren't for him. I will definitely be checking out more of his work!
Yes, Chetelli, I grew to hate him, too. But then I tell myself, Bae Soo Bin accomplished his goal, as an actor!…
Yes hats off to the actor because he really had me over here SEETHING. I think the fact that his character started off as a seemingly good man is what made it so disturbing to watch his transformation. They cast him as the villain and he understood the assignment lmao. He did a great job.
Wow. Just watch it. I don't think I've ever hated a character more than I hated the prosecutor. Any drama that can piss me off this much deserves a 10 lol.
Finished and it was fantastic. I love kdramas where the leads are not perfect and the villains are not truly villains. Everybody is gray and their motivations are always realistic and believable. I get so bored with the cartoon villains in kdramas these days I just fast forward through them. I did not fast forward through this kdrama once because the characters are that well written, one of the best written kdramas I've ever seen. It was also funny as hell because these people are MESSY. I will say this is an older drama, pre-Me Too, so there's a couple of scenes in here that would not pass the smell test in today's modern society. Outside of that, it was a great watch.
The original writer wrote it based on Phj. He was chosen from nation wide voting. His scenes was cut out so much…
That's nice. In my opinion, he looked too old to be a college student and it was too distracting for me to finish. Whenever the heroine kissed him it looked like she was kissing her uncle. I don't really care about what went on behind the scenes of the show, I only care if I enjoyed the show and I did not.
Dropped. The ML is miscast and far too old for this role to the point of distraction. SML has more chemistry with the FL and steals the whole show. Oh well I liked the premise but the romance needs to feel realistic for me the be able to finish.
Or you can allow people to have their own opinion. It's never this serious.
There are a lot of dramas I have dropped during the first 1-2 episodes because I wasn't enjoying them and, no, my opinion was not invalid nor was it hate. The opening of a story is called "the hook", and if the hook is poorly written or isn't strong enough for someone, dropping a show is perfectly reasonable. I certainly would never expect anyone to hang on for 5-6 episodes of something they do not find enjoyable, that's ridiculous. Like I said in my first reply, people should be allowed to have their own opinions without worrying about being "mass reported" by a bunch of annoying stans.

People can judge after episode 1 for all I care. I come to MyDramaList to read unbiased opinions but lately all I'm seeing are stan wars. If I wanted to read this nonsense I would go to Twitter. I hate that y'all have infected this site, it used to be a great place to read differing opinions now it's just another stan cesspool.
Someone please tell me WTF is actually wrong with the hero lol? One of the biggest walking red flags in kdrama history but that's what makes it so addicting. Great writing.
This drama is so well done and packs an emotional punch. The characters are well fleshed out and you will fall in love with all of them in their own way. I'm not even that big into animation and the cells still won my heart. Worth the watch, hoping for season 3!
This has gotta be the millionth time I've tried to watch this show because people hype it up so much. I don't know if the subs on viki are bad or what but this show is so boring and unwatchable for me. The characters are extremely unlikeable and the dialog is terrible. I assume the big twist at the end is what has people raving about it so much? I don't know, but I give up lol.
