I'm not a manga reader so, I'm not sure if this drama wasn't just well presented or is it the story itself that…
Mari had dissociative identity disorder (DID). The twist is that there was no soul swapping at all. She had various personalities. All of them were her, and in the end, she accepts herself when she comes to face with the truth, and all the personalities slowly merge into 1. Komori was an actual person but she was able to get info on him because she stalked him, and thus slowly made an identity of Komori within her. Fumiko was also her, the young girl whose identity was changed by her mother. The popular Mari with a lot of friends was also her. She was disgusted with her sexuality and thus she was able to disassociate and engage with Yori who she was into. She was also the one who fingered Komori because that was the part of her personality that was attempting to be a normal heterosexual. This drama is a great depiction of what DID is; the confusion that comes with having so many identities living within you.
I salute your patience to finish this.I had to drop it 14 episodes in because I found almost every character frustrating.
I do enjoy weekend dramas but I just couldn't get through this. Haha.. You have any recommendations for good weekend dramas, something like Smile, You or Gloria? Or anything with less frustrating characters, and more heartwarming and fun?
I'm seeing a lot of kdrama stans criticize the FL and the over-the-top acting/comedy... When essentially, ELY…
LMAO I couldn't agree more. This is such a k drama. It doesn't even feel like a j drama. Also I just don't understand the criticism J dramas keep getting. Go watch more, explore more before forming such a narrow view of J dramas.
NOW THAT'S HOW YOU DO A SECOND SEASON! This show was such a bundle of joy filled with heartwarming and adorable moments of friendship, love and all the good things life has to offer. I say this again and again but only Japan could create something so beautiful and chaotic at the same time with all these characters. Hats off to the team for the stellar writing, editing and wonderful performances by all, especially Yoshida Kotaro who truly shined and made this the most entertaining season and show. Haruta and Maki FOREVER <3 Highly highly recommend this drama for all.
The angst between the leads is SO SO GOOD it's driving the show, otherwise everything about is mediocre.. damn this brings back so many memories of how good K dramas actually were once upon a time.
Which show are you watching to have that theory? The first time we see him he’s waking up in bed with a man.…
I meant he might be bisexual I am not denying his relationship with the guy. And chill.. I am not saying I'm right You could be more respectful in your reply.
Almost 2 decades old but it stood the test of time. I enjoyed it more than a lot of the recent J-dramas and characters…
