Oh man, the subs on this are bad. Like the food items or significance of certain traditions have not been translated. And to think, the subber was paid to do it for Netflix. It made me appreciate fansubbers so much more.. like they not only translate the words / meaning but always go the extra mile to explain cultural differences, word puns, significance of locations / traditions etc. Seriously, respect to the entire Japanese fansubbing community. You guys are awesome, and deserve to be paid for the hard work you do.
A feel-good coming of age story filled with friendship, love and positivity. Though it wasn't anything extraordinary, it's a drama you can't help but adore. Also, we need more Aokis in this world. Highly recommended for all!
Oh man, I've watched him play the sweet grandpa / horrible chairman for over 20 years so it feels like a personal loss. He will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.
A slow-paced and well-acted melodrama full of loneliness, sadness, anger and regrets. While it did try a little too hard at times, the explosive chemistry between the leads, the lovely cinematography, and message of forgiveness and healing made the journey worth it.
P.S K dramas really need to learn to be concise. This story could have been told in 10 episodes.
WAIT AREN'T THEY THE LEADS OF MAID'S REVENGE?! *Immediately starts watching* I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PLOT, ITS JUST 12 MINS AN EPISODE. I CAN AFFORD TO WASTE THAT MUCH TIME AS LONG THEY HAVE CHEMISTRY.
Fukuda Yuichi doesn't disappoint! A well-casted, quirky and fun re-telling of Cinderella and Red Riding Hood. I enjoyed this, and would definitely love to see more of such stories! Oh how I wish this was made into a mini-series. Highly highly recommended for all :)
