Wishing Annie and George all the happiness! I've shipped them silently for over a decade and to see them finally confirm their relationship & get engaged makes me so happy :)
As someone who's struggled with accepting myself as an asexual for a long time, this drama spoke to me *happy tears* Such a thought-provoking script with such sensitive, delicate story-telling coupled with beautiful acting by the leads, this has moved me in a way very few dramas have. While this was no masterpiece, I can't explain how peaceful I felt as I finished this. It feels great to be represented and to have characters speak a language I understand.. FINALLY.
They were weird and awkward with eachother but that’s probably how they’re supposed to be but I didn’t feel…
Hmm I don't think they were meant to be awkward because that's not what they were in the initial episodes. We saw them transitioning into friends who could really open up with each other and communicate. But all that flew out of the window when romance entered, which to me, is bad writing. That's what I felt.. to each his own :)
Ngl Taiwanese dramas are the most slept on. They're SOOOO good!
Some amazing T dramas that you should consider watching - In A Good Way The World Between Us The Rose Someday or One Day Love Now Amour et Patisserie Gloomy Salad Days Marry Me, Or Not Momo Love ToGetHer
It's a decent movie. It's not for everybody though. It is likely to make you feel sad and question why humans are doomed, so watch only if you're in a mood for something like that.
Sigh, this movie made me sad. Loneliness is the worst feeling / state to be in, in this world. People act irrationally to get out of it, only to be sucked in further and hurt deeper. Life goes on, and that time just never returns. The title perfectly fits the movie. This is not a love story.
I really loved the initial episodes with the way the leads communicated and connected. It was beautiful & felt real but as they slowly progressed into feeling they were more than friends, it became awkward. Their confession was dragged to the point that I stopped caring & when they finally got into a relationship, I just didn't feel the chemistry & organic-ness that I loved about them in the initial episodes. I didn't care about the side characters at all, esp the FL's best friend & ML's cousin, and mid-way I started skipping their scenes.
in case you haven't found it, that tune is named 'Wanderin' Destiny (Instrumental)' by S.E.N.S.i downloaded the…
I'm so sorry, but do you mind sharing that OST again? I lost all my files and I wanted to listen to that again so bad. It's ok if you no longer have it, and I am so sorry to trouble you!
There's something about the way Yaya makes Khim so human, so vulnerable & just innocent that I can't dislike her character. Each time she cries, it breaks my heart. I generally hate how lakorns make FL characters either very annoying or weak. But I don't dislike Khim's characterisation at all, even though she isn't the strongest FL around. I feel her yearning for her dad's acceptance & her desire to love & be loved by Kla.. which are sadly at odds.
Also, I'm not into sad scenes but some of the scenes when she cried have actually been some of the best scenes in this series for me. The hospital scene when Kla agrees to the divorce being right at the top for me.
Love him!
Nothing, but love for his craft.
