Tell me about it, OMG the J dramas on Netflix are bad, except a few. I wish they would put quality dramas and movies from Japan on Netflix.

I also don't care as much now but sometimes I do feel sad when I hear ppl make these generalizations about content from Japan.

Thanks to this drama, I am listening to Utada Hikaru's songs all over again, and damn it's hit me with so much nostalgia as I used to listen to them on tape as a teen... SIGHHHHHH those good old days.
I haven't anticipated a drama so much in a long time.

IKR J dramas are so so underrated here as most ppl just think that they are either about cheating and sex or have overacting, which is totally not the case.

This drama literally had brilliant acting from the ML, and the worst acting I've seen from any FL. I re-watched it, and damn he carried the drama on his own.
I wish he at least had a decent actress who would be able to convey some basic emotions, and that would have made this drama a masterpiece.

Further to what you said, Mitsushima Hikari is easily one of the best actresses from Japan, and a lot of the actors in the supporting are brilliant, straight A1 actors.
