I'm just 3 episodes in, and this is really intriguing and unique. Is he a religious / cult leader, or some form of Demon / God, or just a psychic? The quote at the beginning appears to be taken from a religious source...hmmmm... also that man in white from Happy Bell creeps me out. Can't wait to see how this unfolds.
There are hundreds of J dramas where the FLs act normally. You're just not watching the right ones.
Did you watch the whole drama? I just finished watching it, and her acting is cringey only in the first episode. She's actually pretty natural & good for the rest of the drama. Also, its a very uplifting drama on self love and acceptance.
This caught me by surprise! What a feel-good and uplifting drama about self-love & acceptance. I absolutely loved it from start to finish. The acting and writing was really good. Highly recommended for all :)
I really wanted to like this special since I loved the drama, but I didn't enjoy it as much. It was a repetition of the drama all over again. Giving credit where due, I liked the message that true happiness doesn't always lie in what society deems as the way to lead our life - be it marriage, or independence. We decide our happiness for ourself.
Dropped at E6. I don't get the hype around this drama. The acting is bad, the storyline is messy, and the characters aren't interesting. I'd rather rewatch some of the older weekend dramas.
This drama was a little formulaic at times with Yoshino saving the day every freaking time, but I loved her friendship with all the guys. Her grandfather was absolutely adorable as well. The OST was love! An endearing drama filled with light, heartwarming moments, I enjoyed it all the way.
I haven't read the manga so I don't know how this fares in comparison but I enjoyed this. For me, this was one of the better shoujo movies. A light, fluffy watch packed with some heartwarming moments; perfect for summer viewing. I liked the leads, but Hotta Mayu stole the show for me in the few scenes she had. Recommended for those who enjoy shoujo movies :)
