Wow this was quite the surprise package. Definitely a very original & unique story in the body swap genre. It was just so much fun all the way. The ending was absolutely beautiful & heartwarming for such a fun show. I binged it in a day because it was that good. Thank you for the laughs, show. All the actors were fantastic, but special mention for Iura Arata who delivered such a stellar performance in his dual role. JUST WATCH IT SERIOUSLY.
Hmmm i don’t think it was a bad movie but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The leads didn’t have the kind of chemistry that made me want to root for them & the timelines were a little confusing at points. I do wish it was edited better. A very decent movie with good acting. Hit or miss.
I watched the first hour of this on flight with subs, and I enjoyed it so so much. I was smiling throughout and then the plane landed. I can't find this anywhere with subs. Someone please sub this, or find the subbed version. PRETTY PLEASE :(
Watched this on flight and damn, I am glad I did. The chemistry between Kaho & Tsumabaki Satoshi was sizzling. They really set the screen on fire. I wouldn't call it a very different film, as the concept has been done to death, but I would recommend watching it for the excellent cinematography, chemistry between the leads, and stellar acting of the entire cast. There were some bits where the writing was top notch as well, in fact all in all, I would say this is a very good movie, especially for a mature audience.
A very beautiful series that was relatable & heartwarming from start to finish. I’m probably in the minority, but I love the way the angle with the President was handled. I hope more people give J dramas a try because they never fail to amaze me with the refreshing stories they come up with. This was no exception.
Highly recommended for anyone that wants to watch a well done modern day romance that isn’t just about romance, but about following your dreams & living the life you want to. Each episode made me feel good & I’m bidding this goodbye with a huge smile on my face.
I went into this show with low expectations expecting a cute light show with a pretty cast. But this was so much more than that. I was amazed by how much they were able to tackle from gender issues, to self-love to relationships without coming across as preachy or being dark in tone. In fact, this show was just so much fun. All in all, I only have love for this show & I wish it could go on & on for a while more because I’m not ready to let this wholesome show yet. Highly recommended for everyone. Please give it a try.
Special mention for Ren who played Kira - man he nailed his character like nobody's business. I dare say no one can play Kira ever, or bring that kind of energy into the character like he did. I love him & his character.
I can't with Kira's dream of Asahi in the first half of E8 & how he literally misunderstood everything she said. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Their conversation in the office had me smiling like a fool & Kira's confession *swoons* but damn when Asahi stood up for Kira in E9 I was cheering & clapping. I seriously love both of them. "This isn't just a woman's perspective.." SO MUCH YES.
Absolutely loved the last episode. I am actually sad that this is over, I’ll genuinely miss this show.
This was the rom-com I needed. Adorable characters, slow-burn romance, a consistent storyline.. all in all, it was a drama that made me happy each week. Easily one of my favourites in the romcom genre. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna rewatch this again & again whenever I’m craving a wholesome romance packed with some cute & heartwarming moments <3
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cute light romcom.
E8. That was a very interesting dialogue / take on prejudices. This show continues to be powerful and contemplative, and I'm sad we're near the end :( Also I wasn't expecting Iruna's nephew to be so big let alone exist. HAHAHAA!
What a beautiful special! GAHHH I cried. Such winning, heartfelt & sincere performances by Ishihara Satomi & Ayano…
I do wish the ending was explained better. Like is she back for good or just temporarily? Also Ishihara & Ayano actually looked so in love in the last scene.. damn the chemistry was overflowing, I would have totally shipped them had they not been married <3
What a beautiful special! GAHHH I cried. Such winning, heartfelt & sincere performances by Ishihara Satomi & Ayano Go who breathed life into Mio & Rintaro respectively. I'll miss Mio, Rintaro & this cast <3
