The bromance scenes in this drama are the best part of the drama like I can tell every time they come, I can't help but smile while watching them! The way they look at each other is just.... ughhh!!!! I really didn't want a romance line here :( Bc you can rlly see how much these two mean to each other and want to keep protecting each other 😭 I would hope it's more like TJOL where romance is barely involved :( I like how they didn't go down that route there even tho it definitely showed us FL liking ML there

I cant believe I missed the 7.9 but lately idk why I've been seeing dramas go down to this rating, its actually crazy. Never saw it until August and now every month a drama be getting it at least some point during its airing period 🫠

Sad with a bit of hope. You should watch it one day. I was literally so obsessed with it that I couldn't get over it for months after it finished airing! Anyways, I know opinions can differ with you but I hope you can try it soon! I will say there are so many shippable pairs and the OSTs are the most beautiful and sentimental ones ever esp with all the 8 mains singing their own OST + a group song with a fun dance! 🩵

My most favorite that is airing right now is Whispers of Fate. There is also Blood River that I'm watching (the bromance is amazing), and then Sword and Beloved (with Chengyi) which I am not watching. Juggling 3 dramas at the same time is so hard. If it weren't for that, I would be watching S&B while airing too but C-ENT decided to give us 3 big costume dramas at the same time 🫠

So there really are character OSTs! 😭 I heard about it by only one person on Twitter (before the drama released) so I didn't wanna get my hopes up too much in case it wasn't real but it is! I decided to make a playlist. Each character who sings the OST is the one shown in the video. They all sound soooo beautiful! This is the 3rd drama I know after The Untamed and Fangs of Fortune (which are my top #1 dramas) that I know have so many of the cast sing an OST! And Whispers of Fate is so far the next on my list alongside them so I am happy we also get them here too! 😭🥹 So far there are 7 (including Luo Yunxi's) I am looking forward to the others if there's more 🥹

Also seems like guest role Xie Binbin has a song too! Let me tell you that 如果我說我沒錯 instrumental in the beginning gives so much FoF vibes I kid you not and I find it so pretty!!!!!! 😭😭😭

I'm glad you think the same and omg right, the way you talk about luo yunxi too... how does he just... the amount of different facial expressions he makes that are so attractive, how does he do it? GOSH I LOVE HIM!!!! Tang Lici is one of the most interesting characters I have ever seen in CDrama history! So mysterious, we don't even know much about him, his real identity (didn't he lose his memories since he didn't even remember his name), and it makes you want to get to know him more. Gosh, what an interesting character and story that makes you want to keep watching for more!

I'm completely obsessed with this drama. Every episode is just so good, so engaging, and no single boring moment! Every adventure is new and I look forward to every journey with the friends. Every character is just so interesting. I just saw someone mention how they don't introduce the characters (you usually see a translation but there's none in this drama) but you naturally just remember them because they are memorable and they are so frickin right about that one. I just love the friendship in this drama so much. There are so many shippable pairs. Like we got the bickering duo (Tang Lici x Chiyun), the sismance duo (Chunji x A'Shui), the youngster traveling/investigating/fighting duo (idk what to call them tho lol... but Chiyun x Chunji), then we also got the toxic bromance (Tang Lici x Liuyan), the sworn brothers (Tang Lici x Fang Zhou), and we'll get the most loyal who sticks by his side always (Tang Lici x Langhun)... I swear, Tang Lici has too many ships atp with all these guys but I'll take it XDDDDD. Still have yet to see the other girl, in the middle of Ep.6 and haven't seen her yet... but wow, what I'm looking forward to now that I have seen some of Ep.6 is what Langhun wants... the reason he is following now is bc Tang Lici promised he will fulfill his wish. I think this is going to be interesting (7 pearls of Seven-Trade Jade Hairpin)... well I'm looking forward to it and the next episodes and the adventures to come with these friends!

Happy FoF anniversary!!!! I still can't believe it's already been 1 year since this drama started airing. I remember when I first found out about the trailer when YouTube recommended me it on the day it came out in April 2024, saw the FoF dance MV in June 2024 when it came out (and loved it soooo much), watched the Theme Song (Return After A Long Dream) some days before the release, and I remember in September 2024 when it was said to come out in late October (rumor). I remember so well that it was one of my first most anticipated dramas ever and couldn't wait for it to come out that I had kept telling my sister about it lol. Even tho it was airing alongside 2 other dramas I was really looking forward to, I just had to watch this one over them bc it was just my instinct.

I remember when I watched the trailer for the first time and was incredibly amazed. Had to rewatch it the next month in May 2024 after realizing YANAN was there bc I actually stanned his Kpop group, PENTAGON, before - in from 2020 - ? (they were one of my ult favorites). He looked so beautiful and I couldn't wait to watch it even more for him (and ofc most of the cast whom I knew from MJTY and some other dramas). I was also just very incredibly amazed by Yanan's acting bc I knew him as a shy, introverted, reserved boy! I didn't even know he was gonna be a villain so it surprised me even more as I watched him. Definitely one of the best actors out there who can act out such a character sooo well!!!

I was like pretty new to watching CDramas... I mean, I started in early 2023 but Fangs of Fortune was only the THIRD Cdrama I watched while airing ever... didn't expect it to become my top 1 alongside The Untamed. Mind you, I rewatched 'The Untamed' right before this one after thinking it would leave Netflix, and watched WoH right before TU so I'm like, was this fate? I just watched 3 BLs in a row LOL (I seriously am in love with the strong bromance dramas China gives so it was a treat!).

Anyways, yeah I became obsessed with this drama for sure haha! No other drama has given me the same feels but I think (I know it's so unrelated) but WoF/SLY might become one of them where I become obsessed from beginning to end cuz that's me rn haha esp since so many characters are very shippable just like in FoF and the friendship, bromances, and sismance ships are so good there lol, I recommend :)

Let's also not forget how bad the scheduling was for Fangs of Fortune. There were days we got no episode, and the last week of episodes giving us 1 episode per day. The pain!!!! But let's just be happy we endured them XDDDD

Just lemme tell you I became so obsessed that I did many things I didn't do because of it (I guess... motivation). I covered soooo many of its OSTs (and I never cover soooo many (usually 1 or 2 maybe for a drama if I do, or even none cuz I just don't have time lol)), first one being for me and Tian Jiarui's bday last year (as we share the same which I love and cherish a lot as he's one of my most favorite actors too). I took so much time creating MVs for each character song for each of my covers (I have yet to upload my Yanan one and will have to be a bit late on that one unfortunately cuz of assignments but Imma try to do it really soon when I can) - let's say I take a whole day and usually more than just one day to finish one LMAO, THE MOVATION!!!!! I was obsessed for months that... I kept seeing BTS clips / reuters of FoF on my timeline, and watched edits too... and even rewatched the whole drama like a month later... and even helped Song to find and create unreleased BGMs bc so many have been unreleased and unfortunately haven't been made oof... well, that's my obsession XD! Things I never did with other dramas 🤷🏻‍♀️

But dang, no one is gonna beat Zhao Yuanzhou I swear for Neo's characters... I miss him a lot :( And I just miss everyone! I really did wanna do a rewatch this October but I just couldn't bc why so many of my most anticipated dramas air this month and idk if I'll be able to watch this year tho I did overlap it to this year on my first rewatch... probably in December if there's a chance LMAO! I need to do another rewatch! But when I tell you I rewatch so many of my clips tho as if I'm rewatching and just remember like almost every scene in this drama like no other XDDDD!!!!

When you can't let go of a drama, its beautiful characters, story, friendship, ships, cinematography, OSTs, etc.... been a while since I ever felt this for a drama lol. I miss my FoF squad and I won't forget the last day they were all together for their promotions/award shows and still hung out together :( I miss them... let's hope for more reunions in other dramas haha, hwaiting FoF squad! Also, let's hope our Yichen has found Yuanzhou and they lived happily ever after haha (the ending in my head). And maybe many years later, they meet the other friends in heaven LOL

I just ranted so much and I feel like it feels so messy as I just said whatever came in my head. Let's cherish this anniversary and more to come. PEACE! <3333
