THIS IS INSANELY BEAUTIFUL, my expectations just keep going higher bc of all these beautiful trailers we are getting 😭😭😭😭😭 Gosh, it's the clearest most high quality trailer I've ever seen. Never seen anything as good as this one omg

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! They were not kidding with the 4K quality, this is just too much! The more I watch, the more my expectations go higher!!! I really try not to but ughhh when the trailers are this good??? So hard to resist that feeling! Been waiting for 1-2 years for this and the trailers have not disappointed a single bit! How can everything be so beautiful, so ethereal, mesmerizing, stunning???? The most that I've ever seen! This has been my #1 most highly anticipated drama for a long time now and I can tell that the production crew was not kidding when they say they are working continuously hard on this drama for a long time to make it the best they can. I can already see it in the trailer. SO HYPED FOR TMR! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!! LET'S GOOOOOOO, SHUI LONG YIN / WHISPERS OF FATE!!!!

tysm for sharing this omg! Since ep.1, I'm like the quality is bothering so much. Everything is dark yet so pixelated. The fight scenes are cool but there's a lot of blur to it. I just downloaded Ep.6 since I'm on that ep now and man, the quality makes a huge difference to the experience! Tysm for sharing this!!!

So guys, I covered Wen Xiao's song on the 17th and was planning to post on Chen Duling's bday but never made a MV... I might just post without one cuz I also just finished my Yanan cover as well which I covered yesterday and plan to post it on his bday / FoF anniversary 😭 I also was planning on making an MV for all character songs but I have so much schoolwork that I unfortunately don't have time to make 2. I do wanna try at least making a Yanan one if I have time tho, we'll see.... (as I filmed a lot of his scenes already to be able to)... even tho I will post my Wen Xiao cover without an MV, I will try to maybe upload an MV version of it once school ends in December... I just don't wanna leave anyone out for the love I have for this drama as I almost got everyone! 🫶🏻

I was planning to post all character song covers within a year of FoF anniversary so these are left (thankfully I had 12 months to prepare lmao, so obsessed w this drama since the airing 😅 I literally never cover so many OSTs of a drama but this one... 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻). I covered Broken-Tailed Bird long ago but never posted it so I might just post it on Tian Jiarui's bday (which is also my bday) which is the first FoF cover I ever uploaded with Yichen's other theme song 💙 But I do regret not posting Broken-Tailed Bird on Lin Ziye's bday cuz I already had it prepared alongside the FMV but never posted it 😭😭😭 But oh well, I don't wanna wait till next May to post it 😅 Now that I have all character songs covered, might try to do the rest of the OSTs if possible (tho not sure if I can sing Liu Yuning's song LMAO, we'll see... 🤣🫠)

Yeah i am not over FoF. No drama I watched after has come close to this one (nor beat it) and its been almost a year dang 😭😭😭 Yuanzhou is unforgettable too. I miss him 😭

There is romance but its subtle like everyone else is saying BUT.... the chemistry between the 2 MLs is really something else. I see you do like some BLs so I suggest you give this a shot. Its hard nowadays to find dramas like this one bc of censorship. But the chemistry between them is soooo good, I can't forget about them! Even Neo admitted himself that whenever he filmed scenes with Rui, he got chills!!! It made us airing viewers wonder how this passed censorship! That's how strong their relationship and chemistry was!

Also I second the person who replied to you. Check out the OSTs bc they are the best, the most memorable, the most beautiful, and listening to them makes us resonate w all the characters so much even after watching the drama months ago - almost a year for me lol (all 8 of the mains have their own OST (the Pei Siblings (Cheng Xiao x Lai Weiming) have a duo together)) and there is also a group song as well which is so unique to its own too with a dance! Do check them out :) You can find all the songs on Spotify if you have it (but ofc other platforms too) :)

Also to add yes, everyone is sooo shippable in this drama! You can ship ML with FL AND 2ML but also the villain (Li Lun) who seems to have a breakup with ML lol. The love triangles here are also soooo good and not annoying at all unlike most dramas 😂 ML and 2ML both like FL but also love each other which makes this love triangle so good (no fighting over FL which is so rare!!!) 😍 Also, I love the love triangle with ML x 2ML x Li Lun! But also there is too many ships in this drama so I'm not gonna write them all down. Just watch it to know 🥹🫶🏻 So many with the other characters too. Like I just love the friendship between them all so much! And lets not forget theres also sismance between the 2 girls which I lowkey ship more than main cp too haha. Watch it for yourself to see if you'd like it. Its lighthearted in the first half but after ep 15, thats where the angst comes in. Be prepared!

I agree with you. I expected smth more and feel like there is smth missing in it too if I had to be honest but it's still enjoyable

ikrrrr it was soooo good and still my favorite in 2025 and the only one this year that I rated 10! I'm really looking forward to Shui Long Yin tho, I have really high expectations for that since long ago. But seriously, I definitely need to do a rewatch on MM. I posted so many clips on twitter and get emotional when watching them. Just remembering Fuling's backstory brings me to tears really 😭

I really felt pain for her and yes she did a lot of things, but she grew up in Cold Spring Palace when she was young. Where you grew up from influences the type of person you are so it's understandable. Yes, it's so sad she did so many bad things but she regretted it sooo much esp after learning about her true origin and how she killed someone close to her. She doesn't wanna talk to her family again bc of the guilt she feels. You can see the pain inside of her. Dai Luwa's acting here was so good, I could feel every inch of pain of guilt she was healing. She was hurt physically AND mentally. She lost her memories so she didn't know where came from and was brainwashed into thinking her family abandoned her when her family was so loving. Her family didn't know she was being taken to such a place. She really grew up in such a cruel place and lived such a cruel life taking orders from someone and learning to do bad things. She was never free. She never experienced what it is like to live out in a free world full of many great things (bc of her memory loss). So it's not entirely her fault that she became like this. She was young! I love her bc she is a very understandable character. She is definitely one of my most favorite characters bc she was sooo well-written. It's rare to find characters like her

I think most of us did haha I remember everyone talking about them during airing. they were so popular and I am one of the ones who loved them more than the main. literally one of my most favorite cps ever that I wanna see them paired up again!

(I realized Dai Lu Wa is in 'Blood River' as a guest role as someone else's wife, and dang how nice if she was paired with Changhe LOL)

if you're talking about just the main couple, then yes. if not, then no. personally for me it's not happy oof but it's still an amazing drama! still my fav in 2025 even after 9 months!

Wow I was at work some hours ago when I saw this at 8.3 still. I am so surprised this rating went 0.4 down in just a few hours? Seriously?

I am watching on Youku and I don't necessarily mean blurry, I just mean the quality is not as best as it could be. I compare Youku to like Netflix and iQIYI if a drama is there and I'm sad whenever I see how low the quality Youku is compared to the two. I mean I feel like most Chinese sites are unfortunately and I just deal with it. Most don't give us a good 1080p quality. iQIYI I know has 4K but even the 1080p is much better imo compared to other sites (even small items in the background don't look blurry at all on iQIYI). I know Youku CHINA has 4K and it's quite sad they don't give it to us international fans :/ It's also more obvious when the scenes are very dark too. I'm sorry if my comment came off as rude cuz I wasn't meaning to...

ikrrrr, I hate how blurry the drama is and want to see it so bad in HD quality esp bc everything in the drama is so dark so you see more pixels which is quite frustrating for me. I hope they do end up putting it on Netflix even tho it may be later. I'd be up for a rewatch with 4K quality if the drama continues to keep me engaged till the end.
