Is this show best watched after I finish Blood of Youth and then Dashing Youth? I’m only half way through Blood…
I'd say do not finish TBOY first bc you will get spoiled of some of the fates of the people in this drama 'Blood River' there. One of them happens in this drama while a tragic fate happens in TBOY unfortunately. And yeah, like the others have said, this happens AFTER Dashing Youth and before TBOY...

Wdym to tell me that Changhe saved up a lot of money for Su Muyu, dug it all up for him to use when he wants, used his money to customize an umbrella for him that he now uses as a weapon, used his SAVINGS that he stashed for MANY YEARS to buy him a house in Nan'an because HE KNEW that he liked Nan'an, is willing to GET REJECTED if Su Muyu doesn't want to see him during every autumn in Nan'an when the osmanthus blossoms... and to tell you that when I searched up the meaning behind osmanthus? It is true love, faith, loyalty, and romance. If this isn't symbolizing and hinting to us that he loves him, then idk what else does. Like they could've chosen any flower but they decided to choose this!

A saying exists: "A branch of osmanthus as a symbol of one's heart, and a lifetime commitment is made in the osmanthus forest."

Even if Muyu doesn't wanna see him, he is also willing to support his decision of reselling back the mansion if he doesn't want it. IDK BUT WHY IS THIS SO LOVE? Sorry with my BL delulu mind rn! I just don't see how anyone would sacrifice so much if they didn't love them so much like that. He is also willing to kill anyone just so that he can have a free and happy life and this is where his conflict with Su Muyu comes in; Muyu doesn't want to kill. Changhe is also willing to bear all the sins for him and help pave the way for him. And wants Blood River to be ruled by the two of them :( He just wants him to be happy 😭😭😭😭😭
Changhe, you have become one of my most beloved characters already and I am only 10 eps in. I am down bad for him now and just want Muyu to give him everything he wants (tho nvm, we know that will create disaster LMAOOO) 🫠 See? This is why I love characters like him. So complex yet so understandable, you just love them despite the bad things they do!

I ALREADY LOVE IT and omg my boy Chiyun, I've been looking forward to him a lot bc he is only 3 weeks younger than me and gosh I love him from the moment he appeared already! 😭😂 (the way I knew it was him when his weapon appeared lmaooo so badass 😌🔥🤌🏻) Only in the middle of Ep.1 and absolutely loving every moment of it already! Everything is just so beautifully stunning to look at! I am so excited to watch more! 🥹

Oh shes still alive in the other 2 dramas? If so, I'm relieved! Maybe she really is just severely injured that it looks like she would die but maybe they just want us to think that cuz it may not be what we expect it to be. I mean, I've definitely seen dramas where they show a clip or smth where it looks like one would die in that scene but then it ends up not being a death. So who knows 🤷🏻♀️ We'll see what happens

Ofc for me I already decided since long ago that I HAVE to watch Shui Long Yin as it airs cuz it's been my #1 most highly anticipated drama for a long time already! Blood River is also one of my most highly anticipated so I am deciding this esp bc its from TBOY universe but ALSO bc of the bromance! I am prioritizing these ones first as I anticipated more on these tho S&B I have been waiting long for this. Also why is bromance just my favorite thing in dramas that these two make me excited and happy as I feel like the last time I watched one was Fangs of Fortune which aired at the same time as these two last year and became too obsessed with that drama 😭🥲 I still can't believe we are getting 2 strong bromances at the same time 🫠 I just know I'm gonna miss my bromances once these are done oof! Btw lets see if I'll try watching S&B on the side but watch it very slowly or just watch the other two first (finish one of them) before starting it cuz 3 dramas is too much for me and hard to catch up with 🫠
