So true. I wonder why. Cuz I tend to get more bored and tired with similar plots and cliches or things that are TOO easy to predict. The reason why I am loving SLY sm is bc of how complex it is and how each episode you learn smth different and explore new things and adventure to new places. It's just so fun and such a ride! It feels like I am in an adventure with them wanting to learn and unravel things with them. Not to mention you don't even know what to expect for the next episode... which makes it even more exciting bc nothing is predictable atp lol! It is just so fun!!!! Been a while since I watched a drama like this!

WOWWW I AGREE WITH YOU SM OMGGG!!!! Moonlight Mystique the best drama of the year IMO (and now I'm watching Whispers of Fate, hope it goes higher cuz it's sooooo good)... Moonlight Mystique was too cool, epic, much more interesting storyline, the arcs were just all soooo good, despite so many sad things going on, but I really did love the angst (not to mention both the main cp and 2nd were sooo good - esp 2nd cp, their story arc was just too good and chemistry off the charts). And yes FoF chemistry was way too good especially between the guys! But I did love the friendship there much more for some reason tho LITC did have a decent one too. I just felt a lot more with FoF and Moonlight Mystique in terms of chemistry, angst, storyline, and plot :) I am still really shocked how high LITC is, like I feel like the main story wasn't THAT gripping to me like yes the chemistry is good but I do need a good and interesting storyline for me to like the drama more... I also did wish I felt more for the characters in LITC but for some reason I didn't feel too much for them as I wished I had and I think it's cuz they don't dive into them that much nor give us much backstory to them which I guess makes me feel less for them compared to some other dramas.

Let me say smth that I wished they had done better in LITC that they did a lot better in Moonlight Mystique. About the family... When Mu Jiu found out that he had met his father and mother in the fox arc and that it would be the only time he'd meet them, he felt really sad and emotional... :( The way he cried so much. I felt more for him compared to Mingyi finding out about how she met her mother once too... also the "siblings". I really love how in MM, they had focused on this a lot (Fu Ling and Qi Feng being siblings of both the leads) while in LITC (the child swap), they only did it in Ep.30-31 or smth like that and never focused on it until the end. If they had, it would have been a much more interesting drama.

I wished they didn't make Situ Ling the character he is because in the novel he doesn't even become like that. Rather, Zheng Tiao, who barely got any screentime in the drama, I believe (I didn't read the novel, just saying what I believe I remember reading) was the 2ML and the 2nd most interesting character in the novel who helped Ji Bozai win in the tournaments. I saw ppl say "HE FINALLY APPEARS!!!!" Like I see ppl saying that they finally see them after waiting for him for so long? I can't believe how important he was in the novel that the writers decided to give Situ Ling the screentime instead of him like their screentime got swapped which does piss me off a lot. Would've much preferred to see Zheng Tiao than Situ Ling. I look at Situ Ling and for some reason, he feels OOC for me most of the time like I do not believe he would become like that but unfortunately the writers are obsessed with those kind of characters I guess

Let me be honest and say the most interesting arc for me in this drama was Xunming like he was barely shown and I was like "Noooo, they killed him off that fast and early????" that was my favorite arc if I'm being honest. So unfortunate they had to kill off an interesting character so early. We could've gotten some huge character development from him too

I agree with you. There's a lot to take in for each ep and I feel like I'm learning so much from each of them and I love it! And so true, gonna be awhile to get a drama like this again with this level of production

hahahaha, thanksss!!!! yes his weapons are so beautiful!!!!! and the fight scenes are amongst one of the best I've seen in cdrama ever, they are just so good and always so satisfying to watch!

Sorry for the late reply! It's quite sad to me that you don't seem to like the drama while I am enjoying it very much from the get-go. But yeah people are entitled to their own opinions. I hope you do try picking it up one day tho! Cuz for me, it's definitely one of the best in terms of plot, story-telling, and has a lot of the most interesting characters that I haven't seen in CDramas in awhile. Most dramas don't have as many very interesting and mysterious characters as Shui Long Yin does which makes this drama even more interesting to me. Bc for me, every scene feels important to me, and not boring to me at all as so many side characters are just... INTERESTING. The friendships/bromance here is also just soooo good!!!! Btw, I believe you're right about Fang Zhou actually cuz Tang Lici was trying to save him bc he was poisoned. I would hope Fang Zhou could come back tho :( But we'll see what happens

I love when people say this bc I've seen a few others do and FoF is my #1 ult drama and I already am feeling WoF will be next to it alongside TU. I'm already obsessed with this drama since the get-go and still going strong after watching 15 eps

For me I REALLY LOVE IT but people are entitled to their own opinion. Trust me, the ratings would be way higher than this if it weren't for so many haters downrating all the episodes when they haven't even come out yet so don't look at the rating. To me, it deserves a lot more than this and the rating doesn't do the drama justice.

yeah i find it so annoying that so many ask yet don't even scroll to check for answers. what baffles me is WHY people want romance so much and I am here just hoping for none bc we get too many romance dramas already. Not every drama needs to have romance to make the story good. There's more to life than just romance!

I was hoping but didn't wanna get my hopes up too much but I did notice it's the same director as Time Raiders so I'm like, "Any chances he will make Xu Zhenxuan star in 2 of his dramas back-to-back 👀" and to think they are both bromance dramas too? Dang this is insane! I am so happy!!!! 😭🥹🤭 And we might rlly be getting our FoF reunion omgggg!!!!! I am sooo excited! I know we are all complaining that we've only been getting 1 ep a day but as someone so obsessed with this and TRYING to watch it slowly and watch some other airing dramas alongside it, I am kinda a bit relieved CUZ! First, I don't wanna end this drama so quickly! I just know the earlier it ends, the sadder I'll be cuz I'm gonna miss it so much. So I guess the less episodes, the more time we get to spend with our buddies here 😭😉🤭

Btw I am watching on iQIYI and the schedule is just completely different from MangoTV as we only have 15 eps and have been getting 1 ep per day for the past couple/few days... makes me wonder if there's a schedule specially for iQIYI watchers...

yes! I always watch on iQIYI if a drama airs there. I never mind the subs at all, they are great :) like the person said, yes, iQIYI always has good subs ready when the drama airs. I never think about how bad they are. I also find them better than WeTV too (I also saw someone say this, I can't say much cuz I don't often watch on WeTV but I did compare their subs from one drama with both platforms and I find iQIYI better but I also don't mind WeTV much from what I've watched). Also iQIYI is the only international platform I know of that provides the actual 4K quality if you get the Premium subscription. 1080p with standard but it's still much better compared to 1080p in other platforms too (like Youku or WeTV at least since I never got other subscriptions tbh... this is especially very noticable in dark scenes bc it's never pixelated with iQIYI unlike the other two)

FoF is my #1 alongside TU but yes the ending is quite sad unfortunately but if you watch the special episode there is a bit of hope there too so it's not the WORST possible ending there is like some other dramas that are just purely sad with nothing else to help us feel a bit better at least
