I think it was because sometimes there isnt much that is to be said. saying stuff like that hurts you more. she…
I see your point. But, I think she needs to learn speak up for herself. She needed to articulate things herself with that bully, Yan. Anyway, it’s all over now, thankfully.
Ex-husband’s sister-in-law. That vile Aunt is not even blood-related whatsoever. YiFan and her mother have zero…
What are you talking about? That’s incorrect. The Aunt is indeed the wife of YiFan’s paternal uncle. That makes the Aunt the SISTER-IN-LAW of YiFan’s father. Hence, she is the ex-Sister-in-Law (that is, former sister in-law, not “ex” because YiFan’s parents never divorced, he was deceased, so not her Ex).
So, Aunt is not even YiFan’s mother’s sister-in-law, which adds to the absurdity of this situation. She was YiFan’s father’s sister-in-law.
I kinda didn’t like how Dr. He swooped in like a savior when XiFan was finally articulating her hurt and anger to Yan Heng. Just when she was on a roll, standing up for herself, telling Yan off, then Dr. He came swooping in. Like, why?
Ep18 After the fight scene with shameless Ex... in the house of FLThe ML kiss her forehead in this scene
I noticed that too. Probably for the best. It was probably best for him to lip kiss when she was clear-headed not a sobbing mess. The kiss when they became official was more appropriate.
Imagine you can't or better won't bring your own underage daughter into the (new)house, but you can bring your…
Ex-husband’s sister-in-law. That vile Aunt is not even blood-related whatsoever. YiFan and her mother have zero obligation to be connected to her and especially her criminal brother.
It's simple money, surgery and professional staff can make you look way better .
People who have consistent skincare routines compared to those who don’t do, in fact, look younger. Extreme improvements require surgery—true. But, good skincare alone has been proven to yield visible improvements, like increased collagen production, compared to doing nothing at all. Also genes, affect youthfulness. My mother had the youthful gene—always looked much younger than her peers but only practiced good skincare, no surgery.
This is too big for Sang Yan. He needs to go to the police. He needs to convince YiFan to go to the police and press assault charges for throwing her into the wall on the sidewalk. Sang Yan really needs his parents right now too. Even though he’s grown, he needs backup. This is too big. Now, he’s having nightmares because of the Uncle. OMG 😳
I can't wait for their dating era because HSY is giving me major shameless vibes. I feel like the second they…
Which scene(s) gave you that vibe? For me, it’s the third night at his place when he kept stealing glances at her and one glance was particularly smoldering, like he was really ready to have her. Then, the clincher was when we saw his real personality come out after their kiss was interrupted when he was fake asleep on the couch.
Yes, he acted drunk but what pejorative word are you referring to?
It’s like he’s getting back at her for calling him trash. Like I said, he doesn’t let things go easily. He likes to settle scores. People like that scare me in real life. I don’t fool with them.
The fact that ML acted drunk and used a pejorative word on the FL is disturbing. Maybe he wanted to teach her…
I’ve noticed that he doesn’t let things go easily. He acts cool about offenses; but, then later on, he brings them up as a joke, which implies he really isn’t all that unbothered at all—like the way he ragged on her several times after the fact for jumping to conclusions about his being a father, and now joking about her being a bad girl who kisses but doesn’t take responsibility for the kiss. Certainly, joking about something that bothers him is better than yelling and screaming about it. But, again, that suggests that he seems easygoing, but he’s really kinda not.

When I used only American or Western products (Differin, Neutrogena, Avene) my skin was always dull, too dry, too oily, sore and my acne never cleared. When I switched to Peach & Lily (Korean-American) literally within a week my skin started healing. Then, I switched to full-on Made in Korea toners and serums (Anua, Mixsoon, Dr. Ceuracle, VT Reedle Shots, Dermal Matrix sheet masks)—my skin is clear now, not sore, and hydrated. Korean products are gentler, but effective. Their approach is to hydrate the skin and treat it gently. They use lots of thing not used here as much, like mugwort, cica, fermentation. But, the Western approach is to use strong chemicals with the idea that you have to endure the pain, it’ll get worse before it gets better. I still use Western retinaldehyde at night though. But, the Korean snail mucin ensures my skin can handle it without getting sore and dry.

Jin Ki Joo looks quite natural though. She doesn’t have that plastic look. But, yes, money to spend on the latest skincare innovations do help. Korean skincare is the best. I can tell a big difference in my skin since I switched to Korean skincare.
It’s all about the vein in which they are mentioned. If it’s in an intentionally disparaging, deprecating way, then yes, God forbid it. The writers could have made the point about divide-and-conquer in a less inflammatory way. A reference to black slavery was completely unnecessary. The reference was inaccurate to boot, merely an uninformed opinion based on pseudo-intellectual speculation.
