Agreed, her revenge scheme is quite melodramatic and extra and sanctimonious. Yep, agreed. But, I get the “why” of it. I get why she feels justified in her actions even though we know she hasn’t got the whole picture.

Jo Jung Suk always delivers on the chemistry.

Jo Jung Suk is a master. Did you see him in “Jealousy Incarnate” or “Oh My Ghostess”? Comedic timing on point. Sexy as hell. Just steals the show every time.

The Court Lady was the previous king’s woman and used by the ML’s evil mother to keep tabs on the throne. The ML also needed her false testimony to help him secure the throne. He couldn’t throw her out because of some secret deal that hasn’t been revealed yet.

The sickly queen is his wife. The little prince is his nephew. The prince’s mother, the previous queen, was sent to a monastery.

It was definitely a strategic element on her part. But, she’s in love with him too despite her anger towards him. She couldn’t stand the thought of his sleeping with the Court Lady.

Jo Jung Suk never disappoints with the kisses, that’s for sure. FL is a good kisser too, at least, even though her facial expressions are a bit bland. But, then again, maybe her bland expressions are part of the strategy for her character, purposely being inscrutable and unreadable. Anywho, she’s pretty.

For sure. He definitely became smitten with her (“him”) in that moment.

Marry My Husband

She loves him. How hard is that to understand? She’s furious with him, but she can’t help herself from loving him anyway. He’s been inconsistent with her. He seemed like such a nice guy before he became king. Then, he did a complete 180. I can see why she’s mad. He clearly liked her before he became king, yet sent her away at the slightest whiff of conspiracy against him. Didn’t bother to get justice for her at all. And, given that she had fallen in love with him, yet got betrayed, made it all the worse—hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. To be fair, he didn’t know her that well, so logically, his guard needed to be up. I certainly understand why he dismissed her. Why should he trust a virtual stranger simply because of superior baduk skills and a pretty face? Logically, he had to distance himself, but love should have brought him back (from her point of view). Also, her father—she blames the king for her father, but we know, of course, the father made his own choice. Basically, each of them has been acting without acquiring all the facts. I personally needed to see them hash things out thoroughly before their being intimate though. The reveal and the kiss weren’t entirely satisfying to me with things as they stand right now.

Not that good, in my opinion. Most commenters here seem to love it though.

Well, that took long enough. Boy, the king sure is slow. Ughh.
