He makes my skin crawl. That secretary doesn’t want him, but will probably end up with him. Ugh. On a different…
Agreed. Si-o was already moved by her words regarding the fake light vs real light. He’s redeemable for sure. But, I think his suspicions about her identity are still playing in his mind. He’s too smart and cunning to just let it go.
I know, right. When he said he wasn’t sharing his noodles, I couldn’t believe it. Definitely lost points with…
Ahh, wow, lol 😂 I get the subtle message now about refusing to share ramen. Cause in Korean culture , depending on the setting, asking for “ramen “ is really asking to “Netflix and chill.” I wonder if the Director made a mistake or if that double meaning was intended.
Geum Ju's brother been pissing me off but he's lowkey so pitiful it's hilarious. I can't believe he's rubbing…
He makes my skin crawl. That secretary doesn’t want him, but will probably end up with him. Ugh. On a different note —He and the actor playing his father look so much alike. Good casting there.
I think there first kiss was just right. Nam Soon is painted as a very childish and somewhat innocent character.…
I agree. The first kiss was light and sweet and appropriate for a first kiss. But, still there’s no butterflies when I watch this couple. Something is missing.
Zero chemistry between Nam Soon and Hee Sik. You call that a kiss??? Omg the way she was teasing him and the way…
I know, right. When he said he wasn’t sharing his noodles, I couldn’t believe it. Definitely lost points with me. No chemistry at all with these two. I want it to be, but it just ain’t. He has more chemistry with the mom than with Nam Soon.
I hate how controlling the mom is... she basically telling her daughter to get close to Hee Sik and make him hers...…
The mom in “Strong Woman Bong Soon” was the same way. The writer is doing the same thing here. In “Strong Woman Bong Soon”, it was outrageous but still somewhat funny. Here in the Nam-Soon story, not funny at all.
The mom and the cop totally looked like a couple as they stepped out of the limousine and walked arm-in-arm to the Heritage luncheon with Si-O. They looked more fire than than Nam-soon and the cop ever did. This drama has got the chemistry pairings all twisted up.
Agreed. The actor playing this character deserves alcolades for creating a multi faceted antagonist that makes…
Exactly. I have no sympathy for his misguided obsession and nastiness to Gil Chae. I do, however, believe Jang Hyeon enables the obsession by not addressing Ryang Eun’s feelings squarely and directly. Is Jang Hyeon really so oblivious to the meaning behind Ryang Eun’s actions?
Were there any good kisses in this drama? The ones I saw so far were those silly, childish, dead-fish kisses. We all know FL from “My Little Happiness” is capable of faaaar better than this. Overall, however, the drama is quite cute and funny. It’s corny funny, but still cute. FL is so charming. ML is so handsome. I think they have good chemistry except for those silly kisses. Maybe the target audience is pre-teens. So they made it extra PG.
I started watching two dramas yesterday: "The Matchmakers" and "The Moon That Rises in the Day". The first feeling…
There’s a murder mystery thrown into the plot related to a “suicide” supposedly done because of Hwa-what’s-her-name’s (the cross-dresser) novels. That’ll add some spice. Overall, I quite like the story. I am excited to see how everyone finds love. And I especially enjoy the way Rowoon’s character has completely fallen for the FL. He’s so funny to me.
