OOOUU!! I need ALL the episodes ASAP đđ„ The pacing is so good, the visuals are stunning, and that comedy…
I donât know that she wants to eliminate Taeju from getting any inheritance at all. If so, that would be wrong and unfair. I think, instead, she just wants her fair share piece of the pie too. She wants each person to be given an inheritance according to his/her strengths. Her strength is business. Therefore, she wants to be CEO as rightly she should be. Taeju needs to find his strengths. But, he should not be removed as an heir altogether. Perhaps, Huiju could take Taeju under her wing and train him to be a better businessman. They should team up instead of being adversarial.
Guys, I have this theory that Queen Mother had something on the former King when he was the Crown Prince. (Maybe he was gay?) Thatâs how she was able to force him into marriage against his will. She used the marriage to cover up her illegitimate pregnancy with someone else. The little King, therefore, is not actually the legitimate heir of the late King. Grand Prince knew the whole truth about everything and was begging his brother not to go through with the marriage in that wedding flashback we saw.
i dont feel giddy watching them, they look like older sister and younger brotherdi ako kinikilig huhu para silang…
He does have a younger vibe than she does. But, in real life, he is older. In this drama, however, they seem well-matched, on the same level. He has the sunbae vibe here.
personally, i think that this is actually really good while you're watching it, but when a new episode comes out…
I feel the urge to watch asap. My whole purpose of getting through the week is to make it to Friday so that I can watch a new episode. I love this show!
have a question and I may be way off base, but were the Grand Prince and the king's mother an item at some point?…
People have speculated that she had a one-sided crush on him in high school or something. I definitely donât believe that he was ever interested in her. I only sense hostility and annoyance from him towards her now. Heâs tired of her control over everything. But, he treads carefully with her especially when dealing with the little King because he doesnât want to get into with the Queen Mother who seems to be a complicated and difficult woman.
I am loving CP now that this weekâs episodes served peak âold school kdrama vibesâ, exactly what originally…
FLâs style has been quite goodâthat elegant pink dress she wore to the awards ceremony, the lovely green/pink floral Joseon outfit she wore when Court Lady was training her, the black belted Houndstooth jacket with cream-colored flowy miniskirt âall gorgeous outfits. Even her red plaid PJs are cute and stylish. The baseball date outfit with jeans was casual comfort perfection. Which outfit did you find to be unstylish?
For someone like me who isn't really into historical shows, this one is excellent - melding the current time with…
I see the similarities to Princess Di tooâthe peopleâs adoration, the car crash. But, she was a noble not a commoner. The story is also similar to Meghan Markle/Prince Harry and Kate/Prince William to me. Both Meghan and Kate were wealthy commoners like Huiju. Meghan also has a terrible relationship with her father like Huiju.
Kate learned to how to adjust to royal life. But, Meghan struggled to adjust to the restrictive rules. Even things as simple as wearing red nail polish or going to a function bare-legged with no stockings were disallowed. There were many other matters far weightier than those that made Meghan crumble. Itâs so disappointing how things turned out.
Anywho, I agreeâ this story âPerfect Crownâ is absolutely delightful.
He went over to them to say hello. Hui Ju was the one to tell him to sit with them at the game. He knows life…
I was referring to the moment after the baseball game was over. The Prime Minister invited Huiju to dinner and was taking her away right under the Princeâs nose! They were on a date. Yet, the Prime Minister invites her to go to dinner right then and there! That showed no respect to the Prince. It was clear he wasnât taking their date seriously at all. He was trying to interfere and take Huiju away from the Prince. I understand that he likes her, but that was too rude and disrespectful.
Can someone please explain why the mmc isnât next in line or crowed King after his brother died? I admittedly…
The little kid is the son of the former King who died in the fire. Thatâs why he has inherited the throne. The throne goes through the eldest childâs family.
Thatâs why Prince Harry would likely never become King because the throne would go to his elder brother (Prince William) and then to his elder brotherâs kids before ever coming to him.
Gong Seung Yeon's acting is putting me off. đThis isn't "Six Flying Dragons" , a Goryeo/Early Joseon…
I actually like the deep, slow, deliberate way of speaking she hasâquite arresting and dramatic. It sounds authoritative.
But, there was one scene where she was screaming hysterically because the public loved Huiju and the Prince so much and her father basically said to get a grip. Well, her screams sounded so shrill and awful and reminded me why I dropped âAre You Human Too?â after ep 1 or 2â because her screaming and acting were so offputting in that.
Her acting is much-improved here in âPerfect Crownâ, quite good actually, except for that shrill screaming. I really enjoyed her in âFlower Joseon Crew Matchmakersâ (something like that). That was a fun drama. She was charming in that.
