Lol why did he make her pay for everyones dinner?
He sees her as part owner of the company given her family owns 49% shares. He seems to be gently pushing her into a leadership role. He even called her “his future boss.”

So many characters mentioned that 2ML is soooo extremely handsome. I’m baffled. I’m just not seeing it. Was this actor the right person to convey “extremely handsome”? 🤔

Hey fellow cdrama fans, just a question and I hope this doesn’t offend anyone:Looking for a modern drama with…
This drama so far is pretty light (a pretty standard romance drama rife with misunderstandings and a naive FL, her silly friends, and an impossibly handsome ML). But, interestingly this simple drama has stirred a lot of deep conversation and observations in the comments. It’s great for an easy fun watch.

An outstanding modern drama with depth is “Light Beyond the Reed.” Very heavy subject matter. Beautiful romance though.

“Wild Bloom” with Zhao Li Ying is another outstanding modern drama of substance. She won Best Actress for it.

Really, I tell my close friends everything in my life and friends do the same with me. Sometimes it is easier…
For trivial matters, sure, share with your friends. For weighty serious matters, I would only share with a mature wise person like my father (or mother if she were still alive).

It’s always interesting and annoying to me when FL characters confide all their business to their besties. Who does this in real life?? I sure as hell don’t. I’m like, girl, keep your business to yourself. Oversharing is not wise. But, then again, if she didn’t blab her whole life and get love advice from her besties, then we wouldn’t have a show, now would we?

Title Love Me
The picture quality and lighting are so poor, dark, and dismal in ep 1. Makes me not even want to continue. I guess they are setting a mood, but man, I can hardly see the scene or the characters at times. It feels like it’s shot like an American drama, which I can’t stand. I used to love Kdramas because the picture quality was soooo much better, clearer, and brighter than the American style . Now, Kdramas are trying to become like American dramas. 🙄. That’s why I like Cdramas more these days. They still have the bright light-filled filming style.

I thought they were playing siblings, but she plays his daughter ?with only 10 year difference ? dying your hair…
I agree. At first, I feared they would be love interests. Then, I was stunned to find they are father/daughter. They look more like peers. Older actors (both parents) would match better. Seo Hyun Jin has a mature look.

Title Sniper Butterfly Spoiler
She manipulated him in to going abroad, not out of selfishness, but for his future, growth, and professional success.…
It would have been better to talk things out, but would he have agreed to go abroad? Maybe, maybe not. He was was too hooked on her to leave. He needed an intervention. But, it was still wrong the way she tricked him. Then again, like you say, her idea isn’t the only good idea. Going abroad is not everyone’s cup of tea. He would have been fine without it.

She manipulated him in to going abroad, not out of selfishness, but for his future, growth, and professional success. Her method was harsh, but I can see how desperate she was. He was too obsessed with her. It was unfair for her to make that decision for him like that, but it turned out that the connections he made because of it proved beneficial. Very compelling story!

I understand both the FL and SML , FL unrequited love and her going to shanghai just to get a glimpse of the guy…
I think SML likes her but also resents her because of her happy, carefree, privileged life and mindset. He feels keenly the differences in their social and financial statuses. He feels insecure next to her which is why he criticizes and puts her down so often. Never tie yourself to an insecure man. He’ll blame you for his failures and find some way to pull you down a notch or two.

Just speculating—Seems to be a case of mistaken identity from what I can see. Lin Yu Sen’s friend must have gotten it wrong and told him the wrong girl liked him.

Ep 25–Superb. The acting. The writing. “Nature’s laws are not absolute.” I need to ponder that. He Yu’s (Jin Zhao) beautiful, rugged face in that scene was perfection. The emotion. The control. Yet, the intensity. Whoever thinks Esther Yu can’t act really needs to watch this episode.
