So this one says that YD saves YY (after TZ gives up his life) and YD (in a voiceover do you remember she says he owes her a life, and now he’s repaid her with TZ’s?) says the debt between them is settled. They no longer owe each other anything. YY goes back to heaven. This makes sense because although we know everything YY went through and how much he loves YD she thinks he doesn’t love her.
In the mortal world YM and YD hear Lu Ming is missing and try to find him. YD goes to heaven to find clues and Zhi Xi helps her. In heaven Zhi Xi tells YD that YY truly loves her and underwent the love punishment and treasures the lotus belt. YD is moved but she is no longer a deity and YY is the emperor so she is sad and goes to the Goudan house because she misses YY.
There she finds the pond full of lotuses he planted and YY beside it drinking. He’s crying and it makes her so sad she runs up and kisses him.
This is a good fanfic, but I am a bit skeptical since after the hug he sort of drops his arms instead of hugging her back, which you would if you were reunited. But I am a bit nuts at this point, haha, so I’m reading into anything and everything. 😂

One is that when TZ’s sect are trying to make him kill YD he breaks the bracelet with his Emperor powers and regains YY’s memories. YD regains hers afterwards with the hairpin.
According to this they both have their memories when the lamp attacks them and they learn some secret about the demon war. YY then finds traces of ji dou star lord and at the same time learns the heavenly emperor is acting strange.
YY works out the heavenly emperor is a fake and returns to heaven. YY ends up fighting the ji dou star lord and is too strong, so ji dou star lord sacrifices himself to summon Xuan Ye (YY’s father) - this fits because if you notice the clip where YY is fighting XY, he is beaten up and wearing the same red robes he fought Ji Dou star lord in.

I have done nothing all weekend except obsess about Immortal Samsara 🤣😂
Been under the weather lately, but that didn’t stop me to rewatch the episodes in “Night In Forgetting River”…
Those scenes make me so sad 😭 I love them too. Cheng Yi acts them so well. He’s such an expressive actor. The fact that in his everyday clothes he has such a baby face and wears such an innocent expression, but is still utterly convincing as YY - who is cold, reserved and mature, is so impressive.
I have to admit I didn’t think YD looked so convincing with the white wig, they tried to make her look weary and injured without actually making her look dirty or dishevelled 😅 But ultimately I don’t care, it’s a minor quibble and I understand that they didn’t want to go the whole way and make her look like a beggar or an old lady.
So due to my hourly rewatching of clips and trailers (Monday, where art thou??? 🥺😭) I am now bothered by the clip of YD in her red dress during the battle scene throwing her head back in despair, like something awful has happened to YY. I also think they cannot end this with YD and YY being married in heaven because he is so restricted there and their dream life was on earth.
Do you think YY dies in that last battle and somehow, not sure how he is reincarnated as TZ and marries YD? Or maybe zhixi gives YY half her heart to make up for her sins (so now he has his own not working heart and two full lotus hearts, haha) and then YY abdicates his duties to YM and YY and YD go live in mortal world (kind of like AOL)? 🤔 Come to think of it, YM’s character is exactly that, he would rule as long as YD is happy.
