I’ve seen a photo of YD and TZ kissing in wedding clothes. Is it a dream, do they get married in the mortal realm or is the photo a fake? What do you guys think? It does look very similar to the TMOPB wedding kiss scene so could be a mock up…
I’m guessing that once she regains her memories YD will know that only her heart can save TZ. TZ would never allow YD to give him her heart, so at the end of the one year (I think the lamp said TZ had a year to live at most) she asks him if he would give up her life for him. He does and she goes on to save him and return him to YY. I think this is more likely because YD’s overarching trait is that she is kind, I don’t think she would ever truly ask him to repay her life with his.
That’s why you get the voiceover saying she understands that the three realms are more important to him than love. I think war is also coming with the demons and fish clans so YD understands more about keeping peace and YY is needed for the coming war.
It’s also my guess that YD is prepared for YY to reject her the way he rejected her before, which is why she distances herself. She doesn’t know about any of his sacrifices and how much he has changed (when he heard she was still wandering on the river after 800 years he said he now knows he never really understood her). That YY will not give her up anymore is something that she needs time to accept and I think she finally accepts it in the scene where she comforts him and kisses him when he’s sad.
Anyone recommend Love like a Galaxy? Im tempted but it looks like a really slow romance.
Oh, that’s not for me then. I’ve seen a few clips and barely anything is happening between the leads but I really like the ML. He’s so charismatic and he’s so confident in his love for the FL. But if that really is the extent of the romance and ML I’ll only be disappointed.
I like that they’re showing his mortal self struggling between love and responsibility as well. It’s more evident in the mortal world because the LinXiao sect his his home and his master was like his father. When they’re gods you can’t really see their closeness or understand their responsibilities.
I can see why TZ feels choosing love is selfish and it is not to be taken lightly. It makes me sad that it’s so hard for him to be happy. Either way he has to disappoint people he loves. Throw in that YD is a spirit and the people in the sect think of her as less than human and so could hurt her and it’s even more painful for him.
All that said, it is going to be so bittersweet and emotional when TZ chooses to destroy his own cultivation and save her. Oh, and when YD is cold to him because she remembers her past life - that’s definitely going to make me cry!

I’m skeptical at how many of the scenes in the trailer are dreams. The one of him staring at YD has a dream quality and the one of him giving flowers is so sweet I’m not sure if it’s real!
Part of me wants YD’s memories to stay lost so she can fall for TZ again, but I know once she regains her memories she will definitely remember the lamp and I won’t have to see the lamp’s stupid scheming face anymore, so that would be a positive even though YD would be sad and start being cold to TZ. Argh, the competing interests!
I was also thinking they will probably end the mortal arc in misery mode so that we will continue watching for part 2. I hope they’d realise we would still watch even if our main couple weren’t suffering hardship, but I don’t hold out much hope. Most xianxia couples only resolve everything right at the end :(

The theories are that in the war he faked his own death, came back and killed the emperor and has been impersonating the emperor ever since, that’s why the emperor looks evil. The part where YY is crying and yd kisses him is supposed to be when he is distraught when he learns of the emperor’s death (I think the emperor is yy’s uncle (his mothers brother) who has raised him since birth and has been helping him suppress his asura blood).
Why is YD a lotus for the next few episodes? How dare the director deprive me of proper YD/TZ moments! I don’t want scenes of TZ staring longingly at a cgi lotus :(
I saw a clip I’d never seen before of YD dressed in red fighting the Star Lord on her own. I’ve watched a lot of the Chinese fan videos and I’m guessing it’s probably in the book that he’s the big baddie. But anyway, I got really excited that YD is going to fight alongside and for YY and not be helpless or clueless. I really enjoy YD’s character arc. Not to mention she’s hilarious in this. If you’re Chinese, the part where she giggles and throws TZ’s gourd at the floor when saying 你真討厭! is so funny. I can also see why she dubs herself, her voice is very expressive, especially when delivering funny lines.
