is there noble idiocy in the novel? i loved the two leads in melody of a golden age but did not like how he pushed her away toward the end.

i want yeo-ri to hold her cousin's hand since she's so hell-bent on proving she can see ghosts. let her see them for herself.

i remember being super excited about this when it came out, but i forgot why i dropped it after a couple of episodes. now i remember after picking it up again—the FL's character is so frustrating. had to watch eps 1-6 in 1.5x speed. hopefully she's seen the light, and i can finally finish this.

i like that they were given superhuman strengths that complemented their weaknesses.

i didn't like any of the roles Gong Seung Yeon played in the few dramas i've seen her in, but i love her as the queen mother. i wish they could've fleshed out her story.

i thought i was imagining things when i got an inkling that the queen maybe kinda had a thing for him. i was still caught off-guard by that flashback tho. it's so awkward. lol

"why would she take poison when she has the world at her feet!" is the kind of thing i want to be said about me too. lol.

i'm rewatching this after three years, and it's still hilarious. this is probably my favourite university drama. qian wei's inner dialogues and quips are the best. buttttt the time they were in school is also the only part i liked about the show. lol.

the father-daughter relationships here are so interesting. i hope they show us a bit more about how they developed into what they are now.

he looked like a villain to me the first time he appeared and yet i have a soft spot for him. i hope he doesn't actually turn into a villain.

it only took the rest of the world five years to discover him. lol.

i'm glad they didn't drag su ci losing her sense of reason for too long.

i thought about queen of tears too when they first showed IU in the office. i remember she was also considered for that role.

among the villains, i found uncle dou's retribution the most compelling. the way he was scheming until his end was very on-brand for him. lol.

they gave some guy they just met a chance within a few minutes of hearing his sob story, but they can't give dou zhao the same courtesy after five episodes -_-

i'm on the same episode and feel the same way about him and his sidekicks! they's so dense. they don't deserve her help.
