Title Perfume
I'm usually hesitant about watching dramas rated below 8, but I'm glad I gave this a shot for Go Won Hee (I've been on the lookout for her in dramas since Waikiki). I somehow ended up binge watching all 6 episodes in one sitting. Still warming up to the guy who played a psycho so well in You Who Came From the Stars though... :))

I like Lee Dong Gun and was honestly excited for his character here in the first two episodes (counting in terms of 16 full episodes). But after that, he became a little too obsessive. I'm hoping he calms down a bit though and really focuses on helping Yeon Seo become the ballerina he envisions her to be without letting his personal feelings getting in the way. Totally agree with you re: the aunt (and Abyss lol) though. She and her older daughter are so exasperating to watch. This show started off amazing and it has so much potential! Def worth coming out of hiatus for ;)

I skip all their parts at this point for better enjoyment of this show. Let’s destroy Yeon Seo to steal Fantasia,…
Yup, I basically skipped the whole of episode 4. LOL. Hoping it doesn't become cringe-y from here on out! I'm really invested in Yeon Seo's comeback and how Dan plays into that.

Okay, I don't mind love triangles when they don't imply stalkerish dudes who care more about owning the girl than…
Omg saaaame. I was completely entranced by the first two episodes, but the succeeding two episodes were really frustrating. The possessive art director and conniving relatives started getting more screen time. And like you said, the pacing became really weird. I couldn't watch the 4th episode without skipping through most of it. Hoping for the best though!

This is the second time this girl woke up at the beginning of a drama after a life-changing accident that prevented her from being the prodigy she was meant to be. And without parents. Lol. Love how versatile she is though—from being a naive, childlike 30-year old to a painfully cynical person, she plays both roles really well.

Though I think she won’t be blind for long. Mr. Jo probably donated his corneas ????

still having trust issues the cheekbones guy won't turn into a blood-bathing psychopath or get so miserably secondleaded…
So accurate. LOL.

Title Her Private Life Spoiler
After finishing Ep 8:For the last four episodes or so, as Eun Gi has become more and more desperate, all my good…
Everything you said is super on point. I loved episode 7 because it was cute and had less of Cindy, so I went ahead with episode 8 right away but now regret watching *everything* live. I can tolerate all other tropes except these dumb misunderstandings.

I first saw Jae Wook in Temperature of Love and was secretly rooting for him (and his cheekbones) until he turned bitter and obsessive and just downright scary. Dropped that show instantly. So I'm really, really happy he's playing this character now, and I was already 110% onboard with the main couple even when they were at each other's throats. I also loooove the way Min Young plays a fangirl—especially when she tries to hide the fact that she is one. The only thing I don't like about this show is Cindy. Like, I'd rather see more of her mother and her crazy lewks than her, please.
