i thought the final confrontation was anti-climatic after episodes 9-10, but it was also oddly satisfying. an entertaining show overall. i'm glad they kept it at 12 episodes—the main villain was too caricature-y for it to carry on longer than that.
if you have the time, RE-WATCH the last half of EPISODE 2! - there were SO many lines in the ep (with Soo Hyuk,…
when he talked about meeting bora at a friend's wedding, i wondered if he was referring to sang jin's wedding rather than making it up. i love that he's such a tease.
can someone please translate / spoil the conversation between the wannabe influencer and zhuang yu? i've been annoyed about it ever since i first saw it in the show credits lol
i really liked the relationship between the two leads. it’s rare to find dramas that don’t use noble idiocy and misunderstandings between the main couple to drive the plot. i also loved feng qi wu and bai feng xi’s relationship. there are still plenty of tropes and manipulations elsewhere, but i’m glad they spared these two from the drama.
i've never been this anxious or upset over something that hasn't even happened yet than the possibility of jung…
other thoughts: how will naksu return to her original body if they had burned it? i get that this is a fantasy drama so pretty much anything can happen. but i was thinking they're bringing back go yoon jung as naksu in flashbacks. i'm curious about her story (and the queen's!).
i've never been this anxious or upset over something that hasn't even happened yet than the possibility of jung so min not returning as mu deok in season 2. i mean, she's still there but i miss her already. lol.
ps. don't let next week's preview ruin today's episode for you. just skip it for peace of mind. lol.
edit: ok i watched the first few episodes 1.5x faster so her development came that much faster lol
i guess someone was just being delusional. lol.
