ugh. i really wish they'd do a better job screening a storyline / script before they even start casting people for a drama. i hate being invested in something that could be cancelled at any moment.
love this! it's funny how we, as viewers, can easily get caught up in the moment that we fail to realise that there's something not quite right about the scene we're swooning over. i hope dramas stop brushing off these "small" details. they're really so problematic irl.
sure, the thriller bit wasn't all that thrilling, but i think it really was more of a side plot to tell the other male lead's story. wouldn't say it was the worst part of the drama either (honestly it's the cliche breakup for me). overall i really enjoyed watching this drama. like, i would look forward to watching it every week. i looooved the characters and the dialogue and the way it was filmed. ahn ga young is def one of my fave 2nd female leads. i super appreciate the recent theme of non-vicious exes/close female friends of the main male leads, fake or not.
the story isn't compelling or anything, but i really enjoy watching this drama. i just LOVE hyeri's character! han na's character makes me laugh so much too. i also really like the friendship lee dam has with her friends, soo kyung and jae jin :) i'm def curious about how they're going to pull off adding this sinister element.
I just finished watching the last two episodes and already want to watch the whole thing all over again!!! I'm glad I waited for the finale before watching episode 15 because they balanced each other out perfectly. I swear, at the end of episode 15, where everything had come full circle, I caught myself involuntarily blurting, "daebak!" This whole show was written and executed so well! I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again anyway: I'm a huuuuuuge fan of horror comedies and this has to be one of my favourites if not my ultimate fave. I enjoy dramas of this genre even more when they're episodic with an overarching story, but balancing the two can be tricky. That's where other shows fall short (even some of my faves). Not this one though! This was engaging from start to end. None of the sub-stories felt like fillers, and the way they unraveled the leads' stories kept me intrigued the whole time. I also loved the concept of the egg ghost! The chemistry of the team was really good too and I don't mind that there wasn't any romance at all. Uggggh I have so much more to say but I'm rambling. JUST GO WATCH ALREADY.
honestly did not love the first episode. it felt like everything was happening too fast. i'm glad the pace improved in the 2nd episode though. and i just love hyeri in comedy! she's really a meme.
omg that cameo was everything! brought me back to their mother-daughter relationship in go back couple :( i really, really love this show! i think the rating here could be better, but i get that it's not for everyone. this is probably one of my top 3 horror comedy dramas. so so sad it's almost over!
"what did i just watch?" pretty much sums up how i feel after every episode of this show. personally, i think there are far better murder mystery / thriller dramas out there. i was honestly surprised with how this show consistently kept an 8.5 rating here on mdl in spite of its shaky plot. but to each their own. i appreciate where they were trying to go with the story though. i really liked the concept behind its title, "mouse," and the social / moral issues it touched upon. however, the execution wasn't very good. for something that i assume was pre-produced, i felt like writers kept changing things at the last minute and using flashbacks and special episodes to explain plot holes. it was too messy for me, to say the least..... and yet i kept watching til the end so at least it kept me entertained enough to keep going, i guess? :))
How was it? I dropped it halfway after the brain transplant was revealed ...not sure whether to resume watching
ohmygod makjang is so accurate. this whole time i kept telling myself that this isn't a thriller but a soap. and i'm the crazy one for *still* watching the whole thing despite having found the plot ridiculous and messy especially after that brain transplant.
I thought so, but in the preview of episode 11 she is alive and well :-))
i'm wondering the same! thought she could be alive but then there was a scene in the preview where ji ah is shocked and asks, "why are you here looking like that?" which made me think she might be talking to a ghost of someone she knows. huhu having to wait a week to know what really happened is way too loooooong!
well it was always a bad idea to trust another criminal. lol. i like ha na's passion but she can be so reckless. it's sad it had to come to this for her to somehow understand what drives rainbow taxi to do what they do.
The way I just smiled about Gu Chuan putting Ms. Su Man Lin crazy self in her place and the way his parents love…
i came here just to rant about the female designer like really early into the series (ep. 3 i think), but seeing a lot of people ranting was therapeutic enough for me. so funny cause when i saw yours, i thought your screen name sounded familiar! i swear we've had a similar discussion about the same kind of character in a different drama. i guess we have the same trigger :))
and that good-for-nothing, conniving right-hand man needs another haunting!!!
i'm only on ep10 but my earnest wish right now is for yan yan to meet man lin and beat the crap out of her.
