Immortal Samsara gave us a full course meal in one plate. We were given the mix of sweet appetizers, a sour main course, bitter drinks, and even spicy sauces(the kisses lol). But in this plate, each meal and flavor stands out and none is ever bland! Truly worth the wait and time!
Thank you and its sooo true! Interacting here with you guys significantly lessen my loneliness of enjoying dramas in real life .. I love being here (๑♡⌓♡๑)
Its better to find motivation to start enjoying the drama and decide for yourself. Afterall, there are all kinds of opinions— all precious and important.
But IMHO, There’s more than a thousand people who love Immortal Samsara like me! I also hope you’ll start interacting here more if ever you start watching!
poem!! (✿˵ ᵒ ᵕ ᵒ˵)
Right at the bat! Stories may have some similarities with one another but the essence and uniquness of a plot can never be copied if done well. And that's what Immortal samsara did. It exceeded expectations. We, the watchers always appreciate efforts and beauty wholeheartedly- especially the writers & actors who continue giving us spectacular performances for free.
Nomatter the number of similarities made, as long as watchers try to capture and see for themselves the difference in beauty, It will always be a fun ride being a viewer!
But I recon that before Part 2, there will be a major plot twist, a revelation, or maybe a big development in the relationship between Tang Zhou and Yan Dan to keep viewers excited for Part 2! ( ͡°ω ͡°)
Its just that when I watch a drama I love, I become an overthinker, then I suddenly spout a lot of words, and forget that it’s sometimes too much…. I’m truly sorry أ‿أ
But Ying Yuan made promises to his beloved he cant keep: "In my next life, I will never let you go."
Zhou meant Help. Tang Zhou,
Your existence shall help Ying Yuan fulfill his promise. And you'll love her just as much as He did.
Dan also means Unrequited. Yan Dan whose love wasn't reciprocated:
"You always break my hope again and again with your own words."
And Gou, meant end/enough.
Gou Dan.
Your birth shall then signify the end of an unrequited love.

Actually by doing so, Yan dan is showing Zhi Xi how she is truly deserving of all things she achieved in life. Since for Yan Dan, her choice was integrity and responsibility.
When they were still flowers with no human form, Yan Dan experienced herself and saw how Zhi Xi sheltered her from the cold rain, the scorching sun and, even heavy winds. Because of this, she felt it was also her fault that her sister was called weak.
Through this past, Yan Dan grew a somewhat motherly bond with her sister. She then felt indebted to Zhi Xi and also grew admiration for her “care and protection”. And even after they became humans, Yan Dan naturally thought Zhi Xi is still doing the same care she did for her in the past. And like a daughter, she of course continued to protect the person she looked up to.
She never once blamed her sister’s evil thoughts, because she believed in their connection and that Zhi Xi was just “weak”. And again, she only thought it was because of her not properly protecting Zhi Xi.
And so Yan Dan, even in the end, only trusted in the already non-existent sisterly bond even though she knows it will hurt her the most. That’s where it was wrong. Yan Dan became single-minded, was blinded by this already destroyed bond and, forgot that self-care is more important than taking responsibility.
Yan Dan failed to realize that she and Zhi Xi were already seperated the moment they became humans, they no longer grew dependently from the same soil —unlike in the past.
