You know, I rated this the same as how I did with TDOTWS... I'm not comparing but its just that Allen Ren, the emotional OSTs, the strong willed FL who never listens to anyone, and even the 2ML who just wont take No for an answer just reminded me so much of it. Even the ending...

Ren Jia Lun really knows how to pick a script that could really make one tear up an everlasting river. Literally, even the title of the novel suits the actor and the ending.

Though its also funny cause even though Wei Zhao and Zi Xuan are two different people, one is immortal while other human- both fought for justice till the end and protected their beloved. This is more of a tragic ending for me really, I'm afraid I would have to wait for Allen's next drama to move on from this. The Demon Hunter's Romance and The Perfect Match(still filming) - and they better not have TEs.

He became immortal cause of Medea. Now they didnt 'show' what Tae Sang did for over 70yrs but 'told' through dialogues. That's what made this drama frustrating. If there comes S3, I hope, so but I won't expect much anymore.

They can be watched as a standalone since same universe but different timelines I think. But Shen Yue and Cecilia from LIP are sisters and mothers of the MLs in RMP and SAB.

(LIP) Cecilia + Zhang Yunlong = (SAB) Cheng Yi's parents ; and
(LIP) Shen Yue + Zhao Yibo = (RMP) GongJun's parents.

And since GongJun and Cheng Yi are cousins;
Thus, (RMP) Yang Mi & (SAB) Li Yitong are sister-in-laws.

I referred to the actors name instead of the characters cause the Dongfang++ are too hard to remember lol. I don't know much about the FLs family tree though.
