Ray seems unable to move through the Mew "fog" and demonstratively choose Sand.
I think Ray gave Mew a lot of power after the s^icide attempt and seems to suffer from "hero worship." I also see Ray constantly making himself available to Mew but I don't see that being reciprocated by Mew outside of the one incident. This could all be me since I see Mew as such a "grey" character.
I’m just going to put this out there but for this to be Mew’s first time having sex, the writers/directors…
To me, that scene was typical of the Top character who is emotionally detached and left me feeling gross. The writers and directors did a good job with this episode by continuing to confirm that Mew is making a series of bad choices. He's ignoring all the red flags.
Agreed 100%!!!We don't need kisses and such but if you take a role with scripted kissing you should make sure…
It was icky! There wasn't any dialogue to justify that lip plant. That scene should have been deleted. because it didn't contribute anything to the story.

That kiss was so ill placed. I blame the director. Hyun should have said to An, "Its okay. I'm here with you." then kiss on the forehead. They stayed too long in that dead fish contact or whatever the fuck that was! As performed, it was random and icky!
I agree with this. I've seen some really nasty comments and I don't think people realise how small their budget…
The Bl and Kpop industry perspective is "act gay but don't be gay." Let's not talk about toxic fan service.
I get bombarded with, "Well, you don't have to watch." I'm watching for a different reason; I'm seeking same sex representation and acceptance in this media. However, I'm not allowed to comment on the misrepresentation of queer characters?!! Such as feminine queer characters that are a glaring stereotyped caricature of an overweight, loud and dramatic individual.
Another trope in BL is hetero women are always trying to fuck a gay man?!!!! I think a lot of that is based on the fantasy where the fujo has inserted herself as the uke or sub. The accepting and supportive female character is ALWAYS the exception. Then, there's the character that's gay because of trauma or some devious environmental conditioning and/or must be convinced that they are gay and MUST be a bottom. In the dramas, tops or doms are very rarely trauma victims.
Additionally queer women also deserve representation that is believable, diverse and entertaining. I'll keep my rant short about the abysmal portrayal of lesbians and bi women within the yuri/GL fandom. Those productions are designed for the hetero male fantasy of threesomes with women.

As queer people, we are an inconvenience to the typical BL fandom. We disrupt their fantasies within the BL fetish and the care and nurturing of a "dirty little secret."
I find it fascinating that the fandom purports themselves as experts on same sex relations and romantic and/or sexual activities, while they secretly hate queer people and themselves. The passive/aggressive comments that are often directed at us is counter to their declaration of support and alliance. We are "lightly" tolerated as our perspective is too "real" which interferes with the glitter and heart filters of their sexual fantasies.
I'm enjoying this drama with it's subtle symbolism, realistic storytelling and characters. I'm amazed at what the production company is accomplishing with a minuscule budget.
the closest I've seen to any GL GMM couple that may make it is MilkLove from Bad Buddy. I found Gap the Series…
I am so glad you said Gap was too lipstick!!!!! It was definitely written for the male gaze. Even our token Masc was funky. Sam , just like Marine, didn't really put forth the care, nurturing or protective energy for their partners.
I think Aya from this drama and Becky are much better actors and it would be lovely to see them as a couple.
I hope the writers and directors don't fuck up the MilkLove upcoming project.
It's hard to do a pretty camera kiss. Kissing girls is only easy if you're both comfortable and you do it all…
They should have done the bathroom kiss like they handled the clunky bed scene - massive amounts of softly blurred glittery filters. That kiss scene was so poorly written and definitely written for the male gaze. Plus you can't be expected to act if you're not given the tools necessary to be successful.
YiwaMarine should be banned from kissing onscreen because WHAT WAS THAT? Yiwa was working but Marine was....breathing??…
Poor Marine was so scared and no one cared. That's pretty shitty but typical of Mame's director skills or lack thereof.
Lom comes across as predatory and Nuea was his victim.
McDonald's would have been more appropriate for the 2 ladies and Lom meeting up. Again, I blame the director/screenwriter. Kdrama writers and producers work in a Subway meal all the time.
Girls kissing should be the easiest thing to get right and yet...
It's hard to do a pretty camera kiss. Kissing girls is only easy if you're both comfortable and you do it all the time. You've got all the crew and sometimes perverted old guys representing the sponsors and you know that you have to do it and do it well. That's a lot of concentrated stress going on in your head. Plus, you have to calm your body down. I'm disappointed that production let that awkward scared kiss pass. It shows that production did not care what it looked/felt like. These ladies deserved intimacy coaching.
Actually I am curious. What is the real parental pressure? Are they being threatened with disinheritance or being…
Unfortunately, that is how mistresses (side chicks) and some queer people live in real life. It tears me up to see those choices being made. Often it's because they have vile and abusive relatives.
I look forward to more projects from this tiny production company!

I knew Gap was gonna be janky when I saw those square tipped nails with the jingle bells.
I think a lot of women are lying about their ability to do intimate same sex scenes and directors don't seem to care that it looks ugly.
I always get excited for the GL because I like to see representation. But It's always disappointing in Thai dramas.
